Pickens' inconsistency from week to week in 2026 continued in Week 8, as he matched his season low in receptions and ended up with his third-fewest receiving yards in a contest through the first eight games. Granted, his activity level was limited Wednesday through Friday due to shoulder and hamstring injuries, so he was operating at less than 100 percent, health-wise, Sunday. In any case, Pickens will strive for better results next Sunday on the road against the Colts.

Pickens (shoulder/hamstring) is listed as active Sunday against the Cardinals. Pickens played through a shoulder issue in Week 7, but a hamstring injury was added to the Cowboys' practice report this week, limiting him on the field Wednesday through Friday and resulting in a questionable designation ahead of Sunday's matchup. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday morning that Pickens is expected to play in Week 8, which now has been confirmed. With a 37-485-2 line on 58 targets through seven contests this season, Pickens has been playing second fiddle to fellow WR CeeDee Lamb (53-651-6 on 81 targets in seven appearances) in the passing game, but the former's output still has been more than useful from a fantasy standpoint.

Pickens (shoulder) was a full participant in Friday's practice, Tommy Yarrish of the Cowboys' official site reports. With Pickens upgrading from limited participation Thursday to full Friday, he appears to be good to go for Monday night against the Eagles. Pickens hasn't shown much of a fantasy ceiling to this point, outside of Week 5 against the Bucs when CeeDee Lamb was battling a quad issue, but few have the raw upside he possesses most weeks.
