Dennis (hip) logged a full practice Wednesday. Dennis was sidelined for Tampa Bay's Week 15 matchup against Atlanta, but he looks to be in line to return for a key NFC South matchup against the Panthers. He should play nearly every defensive snap while posting a significant number of tackles.

Dennis (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Falcons, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Deion Jones, John Bullock and Nick Jackson are candidates for increased playing time at inside linebacker alongside Lavonte David. Dennis will have 10 days to recover before the Buccaneers' next game, Dec. 21 against the Panthers.

Dennis (hip) was listed as a DNP on Monday's estimated practice report, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. It's the first time since mid-September that Dennis has appeared on the Buccaneers' injury report. The Bucs held a walkthrough practice Monday, so the third-year linebacker will have two more opportunities to increase his practice participation ahead of Thursday's NFC South tilt against the Falcons.

Dennis recorded 11 total tackles (eight solo) in Sunday's 20-17 win over Arizona. Dennis was able to pace the team in takedowns, crossing the double-digit threshold for the first time since Week 7. The linebacker has taken quite the leap in his third season with Tampa Bay, compiling a career-high 82 total tackles (53 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and four passes defensed, one of which is an interception, over 12 contests so far.

Dennis posted seven tackles (three solo) during the Buccaneers' 34-7 loss to the Rams on Sunday. Dennis played every single defensive snap for a fourth consecutive game (and fifth time this season), and he finished Sunday's game with the third-most tackles on the Buccaneers behind Lavonte David and Antoine Winfield (eight each). Dennis has recorded at least seven stops in seven of 11 regular-season games, and he is up to 71 tackles (45 solo), including 2.0 sacks, and four pass defenses (one interception) on the year.
