The second-year pro has now caught just seven of 13 targets for 74 yards over Carolina's last four contests. He appears to have been passed by Jalen Coker in the Panthers' receiving corps, as the latter has tallied 213 yards and two touchdowns on 14 receptions during that span. Legette remains Carolina's second-leading receiver on the season with 338 yards across 13 appearances, but he's unlikely to carry much fantasy value in the Week 17 matchup against the Seahawks.

Legette caught one of two targets for one yard in Sunday's 31-28 win over the Rams. The second-year pro from South Carolina didn't benefit from the Panthers' run-heavy approach (40 rush attempts) during Sunday's win, failing to reach double-digit receiving yards for the third time this season. When Carolina did pass, Legette was outshined by Jalen Coker and Tetairoa McMillan, who combined to catch five of eight targets for 117 yards and two touchdowns. Legette now has 28 catches on 53 targets for 287 yards and three touchdowns through 11 games, and his week-to-week volatility makes him a risky fantasy option for the remainder of the year.

Legette brought in three of five targets for 22 yards in the Panthers' 20-9 loss to the 49ers on Monday night. Legette tied with Jalen Coker for second in receptions on the Panthers for the night, although that equated to very modest yardage during what was an uninspiring performance for Bryce Young. Legette was coming off his second-highest receiving yardage total (83) of the season in Week 11 against the Falcons, so Monday night's downturn was particularly glaring. Legette next faces a talented Rams secondary in a Week 13 home matchup Sunday.

Panthers head coach Dave Canales said that Legette (hip) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Joe Person of The Athletic reports. Legette didn't return to this past Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Falcons after exiting late in the fourth quarter due to a hip issue, but his ability to open Week 12 prep as a full participant suggests he was likely held out mostly as a precaution. Assuming Legette incurs no setbacks with the hip during practice sessions Friday and Saturday, he should head into Monday's game in San Francisco without an injury designation. Despite his early exit, the second-year wideout turned in one of his best games as a pro in the Week 11 victory, finishing with four catches for 83 yards and a touchdown on eight targets.
