  Smith-Njigba brought in six of 11 targets for 118 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 34-17 loss to the Bears on Monday night. Smith-Njigba was in his usual position of leading the Seahawks across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets, and he crossed the 100-yard mark for the seventh time in eight games this season with a pair of catches on Seattle's final drive of the night. Smith-Njigba's target total was also his sixth double-digit tally of the campaign, and the absence of Rashid Shaheed (knee) helped reinforce JSN's downfield role even further. Smith-Njigba will now head into a Week 9 home matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday just 15 yards short of his third consecutive 1,000-yard campaign and only a touchdown shy of tying the career-high 10 he recorded over 17 regular-season games last season.

  Smith-Njigba caught nine of 12 targets for 150 yards and a touchdown while rushing twice for 13 yards in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Chiefs. After leading the league in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns through Week 6, Smith-Njigba picked up the pace with a season-high 163 scrimmage yards Sunday night. JSN scored his eighth touchdown of the season on a 28-yard catch in the second quarter, with four apiece having been thrown by Sam Darnold and Drew Lock. Smith-Njigba became the sixth player in NFL history to reach 100 receiving yards in six of his team's first seven regular-season games. He led the league in receiving yards last regular season and is showing no signs of slowing down heading into a Week 8 home game against the Bears on MNF.

  Smith-Njigba (ankle) practiced fully Wednesday and doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game in Denver, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports. The Seahawks listed Smith-Njigba as limited on practice estimates Monday and Tuesday due to an ankle issue, but it didn't hold him back Wednesday, and he thus is in the clear for Week 6 action. He'll be looking to build upon the massive 37-583-7 line on 50 targets that he's amassed through five contests to start the campaign.

  Smith-Njigba gathered in five of six targets for 76 yards during Sunday's 30-23 win against the Chargers. Smith-Njigba's 27-405-6 line on 36 targets through three games to kick off the campaign perhaps wasn't sustainable, but his Week 4 performance was nothing to sniff at considering he paced the Seahawks in targets among QB Sam Darnold's 22 pass attempts. Smith-Njigba put up at least as many receiving yards in 15 of his 17 regular-season appearances in 2025 as he did Sunday, so a bounceback seems likely when he next takes the field next Sunday versus the 49ers.

  Smith-Njigba caught nine of 11 targets for 155 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's 31-7 win over the Cardinals. Smith-Njigba started off his day with a bang, connecting with Drew Lock for an 82-yard touchdown on Seattle's opening possession of the game. The wide receiver later added a seven-yard score in the third quarter before notching a third touchdown in the final period, scoring from 12 yards out to cap off his day. Smith-Njigba has now caught 17 of 22 targets for 277 yards and four touchdowns over two contests to open the 2026 campaign, and he'll have a strong chance to continue his hot start Week 3 against Washington's feeble secondary.
