• Buccaneers' Rachaad White: RBs to Start

  This could be a big week for White, and hopefully, he does well against the Broncos. He's off to a terrible start running the ball with 25 carries for 49 yards, and thankfully, he caught six passes for 75 yards on six targets in Week 1 against Washington to boost his Fantasy production. Otherwise, we'd really be in a panic. Bucky Irving could be ready for more work, and White is dealing with a minor groin injury, which is something to monitor. But as long as he's able to play against Denver, you should still consider White a No. 2 running back in all leagues. The Broncos have allowed 11 running backs to score at least 12.1 PPR points in their past nine road games going back to last season, including Kenneth Walker III (18.9) and Zach Charbonnet (12.1) in Week 1. This should be a get-right game for White, given the matchup at home. And if White is ruled out with the groin injury, then Irving would be a must-start running back in all leagues.

  White (groin) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports. White made a brief exit from this past Sunday's win at Detroit due to a groin injury, but he still handled a majority share of snaps (34 of 48) and touches (11) out of the Buccaneers backfield over backup Bucky Irving (17 and seven, respectively). On Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported that White's health concern wasn't considered to be major, and his ensuing activity level Wednesday indicates the Buccaneers are taking a cautious approach with their starting running back. White has two more chances to get back to full this week before the team potentially gives him a designation for Sunday's game versus the Broncos.

  White sustained a groin injury during Sunday's 20-16 win over the Lions, but the issue is not considered major, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. White was effectively contained by Detroit on Sunday, rushing just 10 times for 18 yards while securing his only target for five yards. He picked up the groin issue in the first half and was briefly forced off the field, but the starting running back managed to return without missing much time. White's injury doesn't currently seem likely to impact his availability versus the Broncos in Week 3, but he's averaging a paltry 2.0 YPC through two games to begin the 2024 season. If White's groin issue seems to hamper him as a runner in practice this week, Tampa Bay could elect to give Bucky Irving more opportunities on the ground against Denver.
