    Dolphins draft WR Jarvis Landry

With the No. 63 pick in the NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins selected receiver Jarvis Landry from LSU. Landry could compete to be the No. 3 receiver for the Dolphins this year behind Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline. He could challenge Brandon Gibson, Rishard Matthews and Armon Binns for playing time right away. Landry had a big season in 2013 with 77 catches for 1,193 yards and 10 touchdowns. He isn't overly fast (he ran a 4.77 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine), but he does have good hands and is physical.

Brandon Gibson, Armon Binns battling for slot?

Miami Dolphins receivers Armon Binns and Brandon Gibson are candidates for the slot receiver role with the team this summer. The Miami Herald reports both fit the mold of what coach Joe Philbin looks for in a slot receiver -- a big body.  "Sometimes, it's easier when you have a bigger body at times cruising through the middle," Philbin said. "I don't want to jinx him -- I'm usually the kiss of death -- but [Binns] is playing faster."
