Colts' Josh Boyd: Signs with Colts
Josh Boyd signed with the Indianapolis Colts on Friday, UPI.com reports.The team opted to waive linebacker Curt Maggitt in a corresponding move with the addition of Boyd. The 27-year-old played 26 career games, including four starts, in three seasons with the Packers. He tallied 43 tackles and one pass defensed in the process before ultimately being waived while recovering from an ankle injury. The Mississippi State product will look to compete for a spot on the Colts' final roster.

Josh Boyd: Released by Packers
Josh Boyd was released by the Packers on Monday, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Boyd was limited to just two games last season by an ankle injury, but it was thought that he would have a role on the Packers' defensive line in 2016 after appearing in 15 games and starting four the year before. It's not clear where he stands health-wise, but there's a good chance he hooks on with another team in the near future.

Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Josh Boyd's MRI on Monday revealed torn ankle ligaments in addition to a broken small bone, thus casting doubt over his availability for the remainder of this season, NFL.com reports. Boyd was previously thought to have escaped serious injury, but upon Monday's MRI revealing torn ankle ligaments, Boyd's condition appears worse than hoped. With a broken ankle bone as well, Boyd may now be sidelined for the remainder of this season, potentially leaving the Packers without a member of their defensive line rotation.

Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Josh Boyd suffered a small bone break in his ankle during Sunday night's win over the Seahawks, but is not expected to be sidelined long-term, NFL.com reports. Boyd was forced to exit Sunday night's contest with what was feared to be a serious injury, but it appears the damage done is less than initially expected. While a more definitive timetable for Boyd's eventual return should be released soon, the Packers will be relieved that he'll likely not be out long-term.

Packers QB Rodgers, RB Lacy listed as probable for NFC title game
The Green Bay Packers announced Friday quarterback Aaron Rodgers (calf) and running back Eddie Lacy (knee) are both listed as probable for Sunday's NFC title game at Seattle. Defensive end Josh Boyd (ankle) and guard Josh Sitton (toe) are also probable. "Aaron is getting ready to play," McCarthy said during his Friday press conference. "Looks good. Everything is on schedule." McCarthy also had a positive report on Lacy. "Looks good to me," McCarthy said. The Seahawks are considered 7 1/2-point favorites for Sunday's game.
