Jonas Gray among Patriots' inactives for Super Bowl 49
New England Patriots running back Jonas Gray will be inactive for Super Bowl 49 along with Zach Moore, Josh Boyce, Brian Tyms, Joe Vellano, Jordan Devey and James White, the team announced. Gray, who ran for 412 yards on 89 carries in eight games this season, had four carries for four yards in the AFC Championship game for New England. It was his first action in a game since Dec. 21 againt the Jets when he had six carries for five yards. The game is currently pick'em between Seattle and New England Sunday.

Patriots list inactives for AFC Championship
The New England Patriots have listed DL Chris Jones, DE Zach Moore, WR Brian Tyms, WR Josh Boyce, C Bryan Stork, OL Jordan Devey and RB James White as inactive for the AFC Championship game. Jones and Stork were the only two players listed on the injury report coming into the contest. Jones was considered probable due to an elbow injury. Stork was ruled out due to a knee issue. The other five players listed are considered healthy scratches.

New England Patriots wide receiver Brian Tyms was active for the first time this season Sunday against the Bills. He didn't let the opportunity goes to waste, as he recorded his first career touchdown in a 37-22 win Week 6. Tyms gave New England a 20-7 lead early in the third quarter with a 43-yard touchdown reception. It was his only catch of the game. He was targeted twice in the win. The Patriots are back in action Thursday against the Jets.

Patriots announce roster moves Monday
The New England Patriots announced Monday they reinstated cornerback Brandon Browner and wide receiver Brian Tyms, who both had their roster exemptions lifted after serving four-game suspensions to begin the season. To clear two roster spots, the Patriots released defensive lineman Joe Vellano and placed defensive lineman Michael Buchanan on injured reserve.
