Bills' Amari Cooper: Surprise inactive for Week 9
Amari Cooper (wrist) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.Even though Cooper took a questionable tag into the weekend after a trio of limited practices due to the left wrist issue, the prevailing expectation was that the wideout would be ready to go by Sunday. Cooper apparently wasn't able to make enough progress with his wrist leading up to kickoff, however, prompting the Buffalo Bills to make him inactive in what will be his first absence of the season. With Cooper out of the mix, wideouts Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman as well as tight end Dalton Kincaid could see their target shares increase.

Bills' Amari Cooper: Taking questionable tag into Sunday
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Amari Cooper (wrist) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. He'll be one of two Bills receivers who will take a designation into Sunday, as Curtis Samuel (pectoral) will join Cooper as questionable after both wideouts were limited participants in practice Wednesday and Thursday. The fact that Cooper was able to practice in some fashion this week seemingly bodes well for his chances of suiting up Sunday, but official word on his status may not arrive until closer to the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If Cooper ends up inactive Week 9 or is able to play only limited snaps, more targets could be in the offing for wide receivers Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid.

Bills' Amari Cooper: Logs limited practice
Amari Cooper (wrist) was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.According to Maddy Glab of the Buffalo Bills' official site, head coach Sean McDermott suggested that Cooper would be a non-participant in the team's first Week 9 session, but the wideout ended up getting some work in after all. Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com noted that Cooper participated in the Bills' wideout drills, and then a bit more in the drills that followed during the portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to the media. Cooper now has two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Bills' Amari Cooper: Sits out practice with wrist injury
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Amari Cooper won't practice Wednesday due to a wrist injury, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.McDermott said the Bills will take it one day at a time with regard to Cooper's recovery from the wrist injury, temporarily clouding the wideout's status for Sunday's game against the Bills. If Cooper isn't able to play this weekend, more targets would potentially open up for receivers Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid.

Bills' Amari Cooper: One catch in win
Amari Cooper caught one of his two targets for three yards in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Seahawks. In his second game with the Buffalo Bills, Cooper played 50 percent of Buffalo's offensive snaps after playing just 33 percent of snaps in Week 7. Despite the increased playing time, the veteran wideout was not a major part of the game plan against Seattle. Instead, Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman saw the most playing time and opportunities at wide receiver in the contest. With better days on the horizon as Cooper continues to get acclimated to the Bills' offense, the 30-year-old could find major fantasy success as in the No. 1 role down the stretch. Cooper and the Bills will host the division-rival Dolphins in Week 9.

Bills' Amari Cooper: Finds end zone in Bills debut
Amari Cooper recorded four receptions on five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans.Cooper made his Buffalo Bills debut after being dealt from Cleveland in the middle of the week, and he delivered an efficient performance. Things got off to an inauspicious start, as he dropped his first target from Josh Allen. His next opportunity didn't come until early in the second half, but he converted that for a 12-yard touchdown and then went on to tally long catches of 27 and 19 yards later in the same quarter. Moving forward, Cooper isn't likely to see the same volume as he did during his time in Cleveland, but his efficiency should tick up considerably with Allen delivering his targets.

Bills' Amari Cooper: Poised to make team debut
Amari Cooper is slated to play Sunday against the Titans, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Cooper will be in uniform Sunday, with an opportunity to rotate into a wideout corps that also includes Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins and Curtis Samuel. However, the extent of Cooper's workload and target share is difficult to project, given that he's had just one week to practice with the Buffalo Bills after being acquired from the Browns on Tuesday. Once he's gained more familiarity with Buffalo's offense, the 30-year-old should profile as the No. 1 option in the passing attack, though he represents more of a speculative fantasy play in Week 7. The move to the Bills is a positive development for Cooper's fantasy outlook, after he had logged a 24-250-2 receiving line through his first six games in a Cleveland passing offense that ranked 30th in the NFL in yards per game (143).

Bills' Amari Cooper: Week 7 status TBD
When asked Friday if he anticipates Amari Cooper playing Sunday against the Titans, coach Sean McDermott said, "We'll see, I mean, I would think so, but I wanna see, and I wanna visit with the coaches again," Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. The Buffalo Bills added Cooper in a trade with the Browns on Tuesday, so the wideout has had limited time to familiarize himself with the team's offense. There's a chance that McDermott will confirm Cooper's playing status ahead of Week 7 action, but if that doesn't happen, Buffalo's inactive list for the team's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff will reveal the final outcome on that front.

Bills' Amari Cooper: Uncertain role this week
Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that he hasn't decided if Amari Cooper will play Sunday against the Titans, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.Cooper is at the team facility Wednesday, one day after the Bills traded a 2025 third-round pick and a 2026 seventh-rounder in exchange for the wideout and a 2025 sixth-round pick. He should be ready to contribute by Sunday, but it might be in a smaller role than what Cooper will eventually handle as the new No. 1 receiver in Buffalo.
