Buccaneers' Jorvorskie Lane: Set to become UFA on Wednesday

Jorvorskie Lane will not be tendered by the Bucs and will become an unrestricted free agent Wednesday, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports. The four-year pro appeared in 25 games over the last two seasons and saw his 2015 campaign cut short by a broken right leg suffered against the Bears in November. Lane received only three carries last season, which netted 58 yards and a touchdown. He also hauled in one pass for three yards, with his primary value coming as a blocker for tailbacks Doug Martin and Charles Sims. Lane could be a target for a team looking to take a flyer on a lead blocker with some modest pass-catching skills once he demonstrates his leg is back to full health.
