Report: Chiefs waive WR Fred Williams
The Kansas City Chiefs have cut ties with wide receiver Fred Williams on Saturday, a source told The Topeka Capital-Journal. Williams has never appeared in an NFL game.

Chiefs pare roster down to 53
The Kansas City Chiefs have announced their final round of cuts and other moves to reach the league-mandated roster of 53 players. Among the offensive players let go are fullback Jordan Campbell, wide receivers Fred Williams and Mark Harrison, guard Ricky Henry, tackle J'Marcus Webb and running back Charcandrick West. The defensive players gone from the roster are safeties Jonathon Amaya and Malcolm Bronson, linemen Dominique Hamilton, Kyle Love and Kona Schwenke, linebackers Alonzo Highsmith, Devan Walker and Nico Johnson and cornerbacks Justin Rogers and DeMarcus Van Dyke . The Chiefs have also placed Tyler Bray and Kyle Williams on IR and Mike Catapano on the non-football injury list.
