Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Falters in brutal SNF matchup

Patrick Mahomes completed 14 of 33 pass attempts for 160 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions while gaining 59 rushing yards on seven attempts in Sunday's 20-10 loss to Houston.Mahomes was shut down almost completely by the Texans' vaunted defense on Sunday Night Football, a scene we have not seen much over the course of the signal-caller's illustrious career. All credit goes to Houston's defense, but Kansas City's role players didn't offer much relief. The Kansas City Chiefs' receivers suffered six drops in the primetime loss, with notable guffaws coming in critical moments from stars Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce. Mahomes may have to pull out one of his Superman games against the Chargers in order to keep his team's bleak playoff hopes alive in Week 15.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Four TDs not enough in Week 13

Patrick Mahomes completed 23 of 34 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns in Thursday's 31-28 loss to the Cowboys. He added 30 rushing yards on three carries. It was a vintage performance from Mahomes, who hit Rashee Rice for a pair of TDs while also finding Travis Kelce and Hollywood Brown for scores, but it wasn't quite enough to pull off a win in Dallas. It's the second four-TD performance of the season for Mahomes, and it came in tough circumstances as both his starting tackles, Jawaan Taylor (elbow) and Josh Simmons (wrist), left the game and didn't return. At 6-6, Kansas City's playoff hopes are fading fast, and Mahomes will face a daunting matchup Week 14 to try and keep them alive against the Texans' elite defense.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Zero TDs in OT win

Patrick Mahomes completed 29 of 46 passes for 352 yards and zero touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win over the Colts. He added 30 rushing yards on four carries and threw a two-point conversion. The yardage total was a season high as Mahomes led a fourth-quarter comeback from a 20-9 deficit, but Kareem Hunt had Kansas City's only TD while Harrison Butker booted five field goals. Mahomes has a concerning 1:3 TD:INT over the last three games, but Sunday's win could be the spark the team needed to turn things around. He'll likely need to be more productive in Week 13 for a Thanksgiving tilt against the Cowboys.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Comes up short in Denver

Patrick Mahomes completed 29 of 45 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Sunday's 22-19 loss to the Broncos. He added three rushing yards on one carry.Even with Patrick Surtain (pectoral) still sidelined, Mahomes had trouble breaking down the Denver secondary, with his lone TD pass coming in the fourth quarter on a play in which Travis Kelce did most of the work. The star QB did at least extend his streak of games with 250-plus passing yards to seven, a stretch in which he's posted a 15:5 TD:INT, 66.8 percent completion rate and 7.7 YPA. Mahomes will try to get back on track, and revive Kansas City's suddenly fading playoff hopes, at home in Week 12 against the Colts.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Loses showdown with Josh Allen

Patrick Mahomes completed 15 of 34 pass attempts for 250 yards, no touchdowns and one interception while adding five yards on his only carry in Sunday's 28-21 loss to Buffalo.Mahomes picked a poor time to have his worst passing performance of the season after being outshined by rival Josh Allen (123.2 QB rating) in a loss that reshaped the landscape atop the AFC. It was Mahomes' first contest in 2025 in which he failed to register a touchdown, and also the first time he finished with a completion rate below 50 percent. Even with Sunday's dud, the 29-year-old heads into the upcoming bye week completing 65 percent of his passes for 2,349 passing yards and 21 total touchdowns through nine starts. Fantasy managers will have to search for a replacement signal-caller in Week 10 before Mahomes returns to action against Denver on Nov. 16.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Fills stat sheet in comfortable win

Patrick Mahomes completed 25 of 34 pass attempts for 299 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions while adding 30 rushing yards on four attempts in Monday's 28-7 win over Washington.Mahomes got off to a rocky start when he was picked off on Kansas City's first two offensive drives in Monday's primetime matchup. The resilient superstar settled in after halftime, rattling off three touchdown passes on consecutive drives out of the break. It was Mahomes' first start committing multiple turnovers this season, but it also was his third-straight appearance recording three scores for fantasy managers. The 29-year-old is putting up elite numbers again in 2025 after taking a step back over the previous two years. Mahomes checks in with 2,099 passing yards and 21 total touchdowns through eight starts as the Kansas City Chiefs prepare to face Josh Allen and the Bills on Sunday in a Week 9 showdown of elite quarterbacks.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Leads Chiefs to easy win

Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of 35 passes for 286 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Raiders. He added four rushes for 28 yards.Mahomes had a very efficient day and jumped on the Raiders early, leading touchdown drives in each of the Kansas City Chiefs' four possessions. He completed three passes of more than 20 yards, including a 44-yard connection with Travis Kelce on the team's first possession, and had passing scores from two, eight and three yards away. After throwing for only one touchdown in the first three games of the season, he has at least three passing scores in three of his last four contests. With Rashee Rice back in the mix and Xavier Worthy healthy, the Chiefs' offense should have the chance to take off in the second half of the campaign.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Hits stride in SNF win

Patrick Mahomes completed 22 of 30 pass attempts for 257 yards and three touchdowns while taking 10 carries for 32 yards and a fourth score in Sunday's 30-17 win over the Lions. It was a masterful performance from Mahomes on the national stage as he methodically dismantled Detroit's defense to the tune of a 132.2 passer rating. The 29-year-old posted his second four-touchdown game over his last three starts, quickly putting his slow start to the campaign in the rearview mirror. His fourth rushing score this season also tied the regular-season high he set back in 2022. A red-hot Mahomes will set his sights on a division foe when the Kansas City Chiefs host the Raiders next Sunday.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Throws costly pick-six in loss

Patrick Mahomes completed 29 of 41 pass attempts for 318 yards, one touchdown and one interception while taking six carries for 60 yards and another score in Monday's 31-28 loss to the Jaguars. The highlight that will make the rounds for Mahomes following Monday's game will unfortunately be the interception he threw at the Jaguars' one-yard line that LB Devin Lloyd returned 99 yards the other way for a touchdown. The Kansas City Chiefs' signal-caller had a strong fantasy night aside from his blunder in the third quarter, eclipsing the 300-yard mark as a passer for the first time this season. Mahomes also finished as Kansas City's leading rusher while scoring his third touchdown on the ground in five starts, just one shy of his career-best mark of four set back in 2022. The 29-year-old will have to move past Monday's sloppy loss in order to prepare for another primetime showdown Week 6 when the Chiefs host the Lions on Sunday Night Football.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Four touchdowns against Baltimore

Patrick Mahomes completed 25 of 37 passes for 270 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 37-20 win over Baltimore. He added four rushes for five yards.Mahomes turned in a vintage effort, perhaps not coincidentally as the return of Xavier Worthy reinforced his wide receiver corps. Mahomes threw four touchdowns in a regular-season game for the first time since Week 10 of the 2023 season, with all four scores coming in the red zone. He primarily attempted passes in the short areas of the field but still recorded six completions of at least 15 yards. This was Mahomes' first game with multiple touchdowns this season, and it also accounted for his highest yardage total of 2025. If Worthy's shoulder holds up, Mahomes could be in for much improved results as the campaign progresses -- particularly once Rashee Rice (suspension) is eligible to return in Week 7.
