Ruggs was waived by the Raiders on Tuesday.Ruggs has now been cut by the Raiders and is facing felony charges of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving after being involved in a car accident in Las Vegas early Tuesday morning, per the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It was a two-car accident and a deceased person was discovered in one of the vehicles, and Ruggs was reportedly the driver of the other vehicle. The 22-year-old displayed signs of impairment at the scene and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital.

Ruggs was involved in a car accident in Las Vegas early Tuesday and will face felony charges of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.According to a statement from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a collision at 3:39 a.m. PT and found a deceased person in one of the vehicles. Ruggs, who apparently was the driver of the offending vehicle, stayed on the scene and displayed signs of being impaired before he was taken to the hospital to get treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
