Colts' Blake Grupe: Makes 60-yard field goal
Blake Grupe connected on all three field-goal attempts, including a 60-yarder, and his only extra-point try in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Seahawks. The 60-yard field goal briefly gave Indianapolis a one-point lead with less than a minute to play, though Seattle drove back down for a clutch field goal of its own to win it. Grupe also made a 54-yarder and a 42-yarder in this one, as he stayed perfect across two games with the Indianapolis Colts since replacing Michael Badgley. Though Grupe missed eight field goals in 11 games with the Saints earlier in the year, he seems to have found his groove with his new team.

Colts' Blake Grupe: Signed from practice squad
The Indianapolis Colts signed Blake Grupe to the active roster from the practice squad Wednesday.Grupe was elevated to make his Colts debut during the team's Week 14 loss to the Jaguars, in which he converted both of his field-goal tries and his only extra-point attempt. With the team having cut Michael Badgley and with Spencer Shrader (knee) out for the year, Grupe figures to operate as Indianapolis' kicker for the remainder of the 2025 campaign, assuming he's able to keep up his consistency. Next on deck for Grupe and the Colts is a road matchup against Seattle on Sunday.

Colts' Blake Grupe: Plays well in Indy debut
Blake Grupe made both field-goal attempts and his only extra-point try in Sunday's 36-19 loss to the Jaguars. The kicker was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday to replace Michael Badgley, who had missed three extra points in seven games with the Indianapolis Colts this year. Grupe himself failed to connect on eight field-goal tries with the Saints earlier this season, but he got another shot and made the most of it Sunday. The third-year pro should get another chance next Sunday at Seattle, though he may not have many scoring opportunities against one of the league's best defenses.

Blake Grupe: Finds work in Indy
The Colts signed Blake Grupe to their practice squad Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. After Michael Badgley missed his third point-after attempt in just seven games in this past Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Texans, the Colts worked out three kickers Tuesday. Grupe emerged from the tryout with a spot on the practice squad, and he should be on track to be elevated or signed to the Colts' 53-man roster after Indianapolis officially waived Badgley on Tuesday. Indianapolis will mark the second stop of Grupe's professional career after he had served as the Saints' kicker since the start of the 2023 season before being cut loose last week. Grupe had missed eight field-goal tries in 26 attempts for New Orleans this season, but he's converted at a more palatable 79.8 percent clip for his career.

Blake Grupe: Time in New Orleans ends
The Saints waived Blake Grupe on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.Grupe knocked down a career-best 87.1 percent of his field-goal tries in 2024, but his accuracy had cratered during his third NFL season. After missing attempts from 38 and 47 yards in the Saints' Week 12 loss to the Falcons, Grupe's conversion rate for the season dropped to 69.2 percent, placing him last among all NFL kickers with at least 20 attempts. The Saints have signed Cade York to their practice squad following a tryout, and he'll presumably be elevated or signed to the 53-man roster to step in as the team's new kicker beginning with Sunday's game in Miami.

Blake Grupe made his lone field-goal attempt and both of his extra points in the New Orleans Saints' win over the Panthers on Sunday.Grupe's make came from 21 yards out in the first quarter. The 27-year-old has struggled this season, making just 17 of his 23 field-goal attempts, though he's converted all 16 extra-point tries.
