Vikings' Jordan Addison: Held quiet in wild-card loss

Jordan Addison recorded three catches for 29 yards on eight targets in Monday's 27-9 wild-card loss to the Rams.Though he and the Minnesota Vikings went out of the playoffs with a whimper, Addison turned in a strong sophomore campaign. He finished the regular season with 63 catches on 99 targets for 875 yards and nine touchdowns while adding three carries for 20 yards and an additional score. On a per-game basis, Addison's production was nearly identical in comparison to his rookie season -- he played in two fewer games in 2024 and finished with seven fewer catches, 36 fewer yards and one less receiving touchdown. Addison has proven himself as a productive No. 2 wideout behind star receiver Justin Jefferson, and Addison is set to continue in that role next season in what will be the third year of his rookie contract. The Vikings' quarterback situation in 2025 isn't yet settled, however. Incumbent starter Sam Darnold is heading into unrestricted free agency, and if he departs, Minnesota could turn to 2024 first-round pick J.J. McCarthy (knee) under center.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Nets zero yards on six targets

Jordan Addison caught one of six targets for no gain in Sunday's 31-9 loss to the Lions.Minnesota's entire receiving corps had awful catch rates on a national stage, as Sam Darnold turned in his worst performance in a Minnesota uniform. Addison's horrid showing stands out after he failed to gain any yards while bringing in just 16 percent of his targets. It was an otherwise solid season from the budding sophomore, who provided fantasy managers with 63 receptions for 875 yards and 10 total touchdowns across 15 games. Addison and the No. 5 seed Minnesota Vikings will regroup and travel to the West Coast to face the Rams next Monday in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Impressive touchdown grab

Jordan Addison recorded six receptions on eight targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-25 win over the Packers.Addison continued to play a key complementary role to Justin Jefferson in the offense, with this performance marking his fourth straight game with at least eight targets -- a mark he hit only three times across his first 10 contests of the campaign. He made the most of the looks, first catching a pair of key passes that each went for 13 yards to set up Minnesota's first score of the game. Addison then made a trip of his own to the end zone on a nice diving catch from 13 yards away on the team's first offensive possession of the second half. Addison is closing the season strong by tallying at least six receptions in four of his last six games.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Snags eighth TD on Sunday

Jordan Addison had five receptions on eight targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 win over Seattle.Addison's fantasy performance was overshadowed by Justin Jefferson's massive 10-144-2 receiving line Sunday, but the former still produced worthwhile numbers for all intents and purposes. The 22-year-old Addison upped his cumulative production to 56-806-8 in 13 games played this season, providing a solid No. 2 option for quarterback Sam Darnold in Minnesota's potent offense. Addison should be in the starting conversation in most fantasy formats ahead of next Sunday's tilt against Green Bay.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Co-leads team in catches

Jordan Addison secured seven of nine targets for 63 yards in the Minnesota Vikings' 30-12 win over the Bears on Monday night.Addison tied Justin Jefferson for the team lead in receptions on the night while checking in second behind his teammate in both receiving yards and targets. The talented second-year wideout got off to a hot start, as four of his catches came during two first-half possessions. Addison has logged 21 targets over his last two games and parlayed them into 196 receiving yards heading into a Week 16 road battle against the Seahawks where he should be busy once again.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Career-high TD total in win

Jordan Addison secured eight of 12 targets for 133 yards and three touchdowns in the Minnesota Vikings' 42-21 win over the Falcons on Sunday.Addison led the Vikings across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets, narrowly edging Justin Jefferson by one in the first two categories. The second-year wideout's season had been considered largely disappointing until three games ago, when Addison turned in an 8-162-1 line against the Bears at Soldier Field. Sunday's performance saw Addison establish a new single-game career high in touchdown catches with scoring receptions of 49, 11 and six yards, and it also featured a season-high-tying reception tally and a new high-water mark in targets. Given his recent body of work, Addison will head into a Week 15 divisional showdown against the Bears on Monday night, Dec. 16 with plenty of momentum.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Four grabs against Cards

Jordan Addison caught four of six targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 23-22 win over the Cardinals. The second-year wideout did most of his damage early as Justin Jefferson faced his usual double and triple teams, but by the end of the day Addison was comfortably second on the Minnesota Vikings in catches and receiving yards. Addison has seen at least five targets in five straight games, posting a 22-344-3 line on 33 targets over that stretch, and he'll look to stay productive in Week 14 against the Falcons.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Enjoys career day

Jordan Addison recorded eight receptions on nine targets for 162 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 overtime win over the Bears.Addison posted both the highest yardage and reception total of his career against a Bears secondary that has regularly shut down opposing wide receivers. He did the majority of his damage on receptions of 69 and 45 yards, and he showed impressive balance for a long run after the catch down the sideline on the former play. Addison also found the end zone for the second consecutive game on a two-yard catch early in the second quarter. While Justin Jefferson will remain the top priority in the Minnesota offense, Addison's performance shows the ability to make opposing defenses pay when they focus on taking Jefferson out of the game.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Past cramping from Sunday

Jordan Addison (leg) wasn't listed on the Minnesota Vikings' initial Week 12 injury report posted Wednesday.Addison suffered from cramps in one of his legs during the fourth quarter this past Sunday at Tennessee, which forced him to miss the rest of the contest. He thus finished the Week 11 win with three catches (on eight targets) for 61 yards and one touchdown on a 60 percent snap share. With the issue now in the rear-view mirror, Addison is good to go ahead of Sunday's game at Chicago.

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Fails to return due to leg cramping

Jordan Addison was unable to return to Sunday's 23-13 win over the Titans after he experienced cramping in one of his legs during the fourth quarter of the contest, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.Due in part to the cramping issue, Addison played only 44 of the Minnesota Vikings' 73 offensive snaps, with his 60 percent share marking his second-lowest rate of the season. The wideout still came through with three catches for 61 yards and a touchdown on eight targets before exiting the game. Addison should be ready to go for next Sunday's contest in Chicago, where he'll likely see his snap share rise back to its typical 80-to-95 percent range.
