Chiefs acquire G Ben Grubbs for fifth-round pick
The Kansas City Chiefs traded this year's fifth-round pick to the New Orleans Saints for guard Ben Grubbs, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter. A two-time Pro Bowler, Grubbs has started 118 games since entering the league in 2007. The New Orleans Saints listed their inactives for Thursday's preseason opener against the Rams in St. Louis. Drew Brees, Pierre Thomas, Andy Tanner, Champ Bailey, Jarius Byrd, Terrence Frederick, Erik Lorig, Ben Grubbs, Jahri Evans, Ty Nsekhe, Kenny Stills, Je'Ron Hamm and Victor Butler all did not dress for the game.

New Orleans Saints guard Ben Grubbs (neck), defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee), guard Jahri Evans (ankle), cornerback Chris Carr (hip, back, hamstring), cornerback Rod Sweeting (hip), safety Kenny Vaccaro (concussion), tight end Benjamin Watson (concussion) and defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (back) were all listed as questionable for Thursday's game at Atlanta.
