Bucs probables should give it a go Thursday
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers should have a number of players available Week 3 against Tampa. Da'Quan Bowers, Evan Dietrich-Smith, Demar Dotson, William Gholston, Logan Mankins and Bradley McDougald were all active for Thursday's game. All six players were probable coming into the game. Michael Johnson was listed as questionable, but should also be able to play.

Logan Mankins exits game with knee injury
Tampa Bay Buccaneers left guard Logan Mankins left Sunday's season opener against the Panthers with an apparent left knee injury. Mankins' knee buckled on him in the second quarter. He was escorted back to the locker room under his own power but was officially ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Report: Tom Brady 'not happy' with Logan Mankins trade
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was "not happy" with the trade of guard Logan Mankins to the Buccaneers, reports Bleacher Report's Jason Cole. He added that Brady had an "emotional reaction" to the move, which landed New England tight end Timothy Wright and saved the team more than $5.7 million.

The New England Patriots "have agreed to the parameters of a trade" that will send Pro Bowl guard Logan Mankins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for tight end Timothy Wright and a draft pick, reports Fox Sports. Wright caught 54 passes for 571 yards and five touchdowns last season.
