Josh Morgan: Treated for gunshot wound
Josh Morgan was treated for an apparent, self-inflicted gunshot wound on Jan. 31, FOX Sports reports.Among the final cuts from Saints training camp in 2015, Morgan failed to take an NFL snap for the first time since he was selected in the 2008 draft. While the recent incident brings with it a misdemeanor charge of reckless use of a firearm, it remains to be seen if he'll be a part of an offseason program in anticipation of the 2016 season.

Saints cut WR Josh Morgan
The New Orleans Saints cut ties with wide receiver Josh Morgan on Saturday, reports ESPN. Morgan caught 10 passes for 70 yards in 14 games last season.

Two Bears combine for three catches in defeat
A pair of Chicago Bears made the tiniest of contributions Sunday against the victorious Lions. Wideout Josh Morgan caught two passes for two yards while tight end Dante Rosario snagged one for one yard.

Bears get contributions on MNF
The Chicago Bears got a few offensive contributions in Monday's 31-15 home loss to the Saints. Among them, rookie running back Ka'Deem Carey caught all three of his targets for 39 yards and had a 4-yard carry. Dante Rosario made a 4-yard catch. Wideout Josh Morgan was targeted once without a catch. They'll play the Lions in Week 16.

Bears' Marquess Wilson, Josh Morgan do little Week 14
Chicago Bears backup pass catchers Marquess Wilson and Josh Morgan did little Week 14 against the Cowboys. Wilson did receive five targets, but only came up with two receptions. He finished with 19 yards. Morgan hauled in one pass, gaining 8 yards. Both players will look for more Week 15 against the Saints.

Alshon Jeffery, Brandon Marshall ready to go for Bears
The Chicago Bears will have both Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall Week 12 against the Buccaneers. Both players came into the contest listed as probable, and were always expected to play. The team will also have Ego Ferguson and Josh Morgan. Both players were also listed as probable. Ferguson is getting over an illness. Morgan has a shoulder injury. Demontre Hurst , who was listed as questionable, will attempt to play through a knee injury.

Bears list inactives for Week 11
The Chicago Bears have listed Jordan Mills, Josh Morgan, Terrance Mitchell, Darryl Sharpton, Eben Britton, Trevor Scott and Blake Annen as inactive Week 11 against the Vikings. Both Scott and Sharpton had been ruled out prior to Sunday's game. Mills was considered doubtful due to a rib injury, while Morgan was questionable with a shoulder issue. Mitchell was probable due to an illness, but will not go.

Bennett, Marshall among Bears' probables for Week 11
The Chicago Bears listed 10 players on its final injury report for Week 11 against Minnesota. Eben Britton (illness), Trevor Scott (knee) and Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) were all ruled out for Sunday. Jordan Mills (ribs) and Josh Morgan (shoulder) were unable to practice this week. Morgan is questionable, while Mills is doubtful. Meanwhile, Martellus Bennett (ribs), Tim Jennings (knee), Brandon Marshall (ankle) Terrance Mitchell (ullness) and Cornelius Washington (illness) were all deemed probable.

Pair of Bears pitch in offensively in Week 4
Backup quarterback Jimmy Clausen and wideout Josh Morgan made minor contributions to the Chicago Bears offense Sunday against Green Bay. Clausen completed his lone pass for nine yards in relief of Jay Cutler. Morgan racked up three receptions for 24 yards. Two of those catches came in the fourth quarter.
