Cedric Peerman (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.With Jeremy Hill (ankle), Giovani Bernard and Joe Mixon all lined up to play with the Cincinnati Bengals, Peerman wasn't slated for many offensive snaps anyway. He would have been able to vie for return opportunities if it wasn't for the emergence of Alex Erickson in 2016, so even if Peerman does get healthy enough to be activated, don't expect the Bengals to choose that route.
