Report: Saints keep safety Jamarca Sanford for another year
The New Orleans Saints have re-signed safety Jamarca Sanford to a one-year deal on Friday, according to hi agent Drew Rosenhaus, per Pro Football Talk. Sanford was due to become a free agent on Tuesday before New Orleans locked him down. Details of the contract were not made public at the time. Sanford, 29, registered 10 tackles in New Orleans' season finale against Tampa Bay last season. He finished the year with 16 tackles and two stuffs between the Redskins and Saints last year. He has one sack and two interceptions over his six-year NFL career.

Saints' Terron Armstead out for regular season finale against Bucs

Report: Desperate Saints benching S Kenny Vaccaro
The reeling New Orleans Saints are benching 2013 first-round pick Kenny Vaccaro, reports NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport called the news "incredible," noting the safety has earned several game balls. Vaccaro has played in every game this season, getting 66 tackles, two interceptions and a sack.
