Colts' Ahmad Bradshaw: Placed on IR

Ahmad Bradshaw (wrist) was placed on the Indianapolis Colts' injured reserve list Monday, ending his 2015 season.Bradshaw suffered a wrist injury during Sunday's win over the Buccaneers and will now land on season-ending IR for the third straight season. In just six games played this term, the 29-year-old managed only 85 yards on 31 carries, but caught three touchdown passes on 10 receptions. With Bradshaw out, expect the Colts to rely on the combination of Frank Gore and Dan Herron going forward.

Colts' Ahmad Bradshaw: Injured wrist not broken

Ahmad Bradshaw underwent an X-ray on his injured wrist after Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, and while it showed no fractures, the area is very swollen, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.Bradshaw was knocked out of the game due to the ailment, finishing with four carries for six yards and three catches on four targets for 20 receiving yards. The Indianapolis Colts' rushing game was shut down by the Bucs, as starter Frank Gore could only get 24 yards on 19 carries. If Bradshaw has to miss any time, Dan Herron will likely take over the backup role.

Colts' Ahmad Bradshaw: Catches two touchdowns

Ahmad Bradshaw carried the ball nine times for 32 yards, and added four receptions on four targets for 20 yards and two touchdowns Sunday in Atlanta.Bradshaw's modest yardage total isn't surprising due to his lack of touches, but he's making the most of his limited time on the field. The ninth-year running back is firmly behind Frank Gore on the Indianapolis Colts depth chart, but that hasn't stopped him from picking up three receiving scores over the past two weeks. Still, expecting Bradshaw to continue to find pay dirt with regularity is a stretch.

Colts' Ahmad Bradshaw: Touchdown reception in win

Ahmad Bradshaw had six carries for three yards and one reception for an eight-yard touchdown in Sunday's win over Denver.Frank Gore had 28 carries, so Bradshaw isn't going to get many carries unless Gore gets hurt. However, Bradshaw could have a role in the passing game if Indy finally gets its passing offense on track.

Colts' Ahmad Bradshaw: Active to face Patriots

Ahmad Bradshaw is active for Sunday's game against the Patriots.Signed just a few days ago, Bradshaw probably won't be a big threat to Frank Gore's workload Sunday night, but he may have an immediate role on passing downs. Veteran RB Ahmad Bradshaw signs with Colts

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw has agreed to terms with the Indianapolis Colts. While Bradshaw is no immediate threat to supplant starter Frank Gore, he did see action in 10 games with the Colts last season and record a 4.7 yards-per-carry average. He gives the team some added depth and experience at running back.In the short term, it shouldn't be long before Bradshaw sees change-of-pace work.

Free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw pleads no contest to pot charge

Running back Ahmad Bradshaw, who was released by the Colts after the 2014 season, pleaded no contest and paid a fine Monday in an Ohio court to a charge of misdemeanor marijuana possession, per the Associated Press.  Bradshaw played last two seasons for the Indianapolis Colts. He scored eight touchdowns with 725 total yards in 10 games in 2014 before suffering a season-ending fractured fibula.  The charges arose from a Feb. 5 traffic stop in which the officer smelled "the strong odor of raw marijuana." NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the case will be reviewed "under our policies." Any potential punishment would depend on his status in the league's drug program.
