Daniel Carlson K | LV
Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Makes two of three FG attempts
Carlson converted two of three field-goal attempts and made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 19-14 win over the Jaguars.
Carlson's contributions were highlighted by a 49-yard field goal early in the second quarter en route to his seven-point final tally, though he missed wide right from 46 yards in the second half. Nonetheless, a favorable matchup indoors against the Saints awaits Carlson in Week 17.

Andre Szmyt K | CLE
Andre Szmyt: Joins Cleveland's practice squad
Szmyt agreed to a contract with the Browns' practice squad Tuesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Cleveland's decision to bring Szmyt aboard as a member of its practice squad could hint that Dustin Hopkins' standing as the team's kicker is on shaky ground after another poor performance in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Bengals. After he was inactive for the Week 15 loss to the Chiefs following a string of poor outings, Hopkins stepped back in as Cleveland's kicker for Week 16 but missed his lone extra-point attempt in the loss. With Hopkins having now missed 12 total kicks on the season (nine field goals, three extra points), the Browns could turn to Szmyt if he impresses in his initial practices with the team. The 26-year-old has yet to make his NFL debut since going undrafted out of Syracuse in 2023, but he was one of the top kickers in the UFL this past spring as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks, converting 19 of 21 field-goal attempts with a long of 61 yards.

Greg Joseph K | LV
Greg Joseph: Added to Jets' practice squad
Joseph agreed to a contract Tuesday with the Jets' practice squad, according to a social media post from his agent, Brett Tessler.
Though Joseph will start out on New York's practice squad, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich implied Monday that Anders Carlson's job was in jeopardy after the kicker missed an extra-point attempt as well as a 49-yard field goal in this past Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Rams. If the Jets elect to move on from Carlson, Joseph could be a candidate to be elevated for the Week 17 game in Buffalo and would become New York's fifth different kicker of the season. Per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, Ulbrich added that Greg Zuerlein (knee) -- who has missed the last seven games while on injured reserve -- could also factor into the team's plans at kicker this week, though Zuerlein will first have to resume practicing. Joseph has previously appeared in seven games with the Giants and Commanders this season, converting 15 of 19 field-goal attempts and going 8-for-8 on extra-point tries.

Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Misses from 56 in three-point loss
Ellliott made all three of his extra-point attempts but missed one of his five field-goal tries in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders.
Elliott was good from 24 and 40 yards in the third quarter and from 50 and 40 yards in the fourth, but his miss from 56 yards as time expired in the first half would wind up being the winning margin for Washington. At the time, that miss meant Elliott was still yet to convert from 50 yards or more this season, but his 50-yarder late in the game improved his record to 1-for-7 from that distance.

Greg Joseph K | LV
Greg Joseph: Parts ways with Washington
Joseph was cut from the Commanders' practice squad Monday.
Joseph signed with Washington's practice squad Dec. 13 and was elevated for Week 15 against New Orleans. In that contest, he went 2-for-3 on field-goal tries and made both his extra-point attempts, but he reverted to the practice squad shortly thereafter. Joseph's opportunity with the Commanders came as a result of injuries to Austin Seibert (groin) and Zane Gonzalez, who was dealing with a foot issue at the time of Joseph's elevation. However, with Gonzalez back to full health and Seibert eligible to return from IR, Washington no longer has a need for Joseph's services.

Jake Moody K | WAS
49ers' Jake Moody: Misses from 41 yards out
Moody went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and 2-for-2 on point-after tries in Sunday's 29-17 loss to Miami.
Moody's 41-yard miss in the third quarter was instrumental to the 49ers' demise, as it would have kept the deficit within one score. Instead, Miami was able to keep the lead just out of reach before De'Von Achane put the game away with a 50-yard scamper late in the fourth quarter. Moody is proving to be just an average kicking option despite his third-round pedigree, and the same could be said for his fantasy value against Detroit next Monday.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Held back by offense again Week 16
Gano didn't attempt a field goal and made his only extra-point try in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Falcons.
Gano was successful on the extra-point attempt following a Tyrone Tracy receiving touchdown in the second quarter, but that was the only scoring chance he got in the game, as Atlanta subsequently reeled off 34 straight points. The veteran kicker hasn't had a field-goal opportunity in either of the Giants' past two games, and his prospects over the final two contests of the regular season aren't bright given the poor state of the team's offense. New York is averaging just 11.8 points over its past five games.

Joshua Karty K | ARI
Rams' Joshua Karty: Another missed PAT in victory
Karty connected on both his field-goal attempts and made one of two PAT attempts during Sunday's 19-9 victory against the Jets.
The rookie's first action of the contest seemed like a bad omen, as he clanged his first PAT attempt off the right upright. Karty pulled things together from there, however, and made his only other PAT attempt, along with field goals of 38 and 45 yards. Karty's final two games of the season are home contests at SoFi Stadium, where the rookie kicker is a mediocre 8-for-11 on the season on field goals. The Cardinals are up first for Karty and the Rams in Week 17.

Jason Sanders K | MIA
Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Scores 17 points in Week 16 win
Sanders converted all five of his field-goal attempts during Sunday's 29-17 win over the 49ers. He also made both of his extra-point tries.
Sanders accounted for more than half of Miami's total points during the Week 16 win, his most productive game of the 2024 campaign. The veteran is now three field-goal conversions away from his career-best mark of 36, with Sunday's upcoming road matchup against the Browns representing his first of two remaining regular-season contests to set a new career high.

Anders Carlson K | NYJ
Jets' Anders Carlson: Job in jeopardy following loss
Carlson went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and missed his lone extra-point attempt during the Jets' 19-9 loss to the Rams on Sunday.
Carlson missed his only extra-point try of the game late in the first quarter following the Jets' 14-play, 99-yard drive that ended with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams. Carlson made a 21-yard chip shot as time expired in the first half, but his 49-yard field-goal attempt late in the fourth quarter missed wide right, and it was a crucial miss as it prevented the Jets from reducing the deficit to one score. Sunday's loss could've been Carlson's last game with Gang Green, as head coach Jeff Ulbrich said Monday that the Jets are going to explore their options at kicker this week, per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. The Jets don't have a kicker signed to the practice squad, but they will likely add one ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Bills on Sunday.
