  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Misses another field goal Sunday

McPherson missed his only field-goal attempt but connected on all six extra-point tries in Sunday's 42-21 win over the Panthers.

After a strong start to the 2022-23 campaign, McPherson has now missed three kicks over Cincinnati's previous two games, including the missed 48-yard field-goal try during the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against Carolina. The 23-year-old has just two field-goal makes across the team's last five games, and the Bengals will now enjoy a Week 10 bye before returning the following Sunday versus Pittsburgh.

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Rams' Matt Gay: Makes two field goals

Gay connected on both field-goal attempts and converted his only extra-point try in Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Buccaneers.

Gay was able boot his first field goals since Week 6 in the third quarter, hitting attempts from 26 and 35 yards out. Gay's fantasy ceiling is capped by the anemic state of the Rams offense, however, as Los Angeles has only cleared 14 points once since a Week 3 victory against the Cardinals. The Rams' next opponent just happens to be Arizona, which has given up over 30 points in three straight contests, affording Gay a slightly more optimistic outlook in Week 10.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Kicks game-winner against Bills

Zuerlein made both of his field-goal attempts and converted both PAT tries in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Bills.

Zuerlein's 53-yard field goal in the first quarter found a way to knuckle in despite some windy conditions at MetLife Stadium. His 28-yard attempt with less than two minutes remaining in the fourth was less adventurous but just as significant, as that kick broke a 17-17 tie before a defensive stand on Buffalo's ensuing possession clinched the victory for the Jets.

  • Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Makes two 38-yarders in loss

Carlson booted a pair of 38-yard field goals and converted two point-after attempts in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Jaguars.

Carlson remains perfect on field-goal attempts this season, and his production picked up Sunday from a zero-point showing in Week 8, when the Raiders were shut out by the Saints. Carlson and the Raiders are at home against the Colts in Week 10.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: Converts lone field-goal attempt

Santos converted a field goal and thee extra points in the Bears' 35-32 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.

Santos has posted at least five points in each of Chicago's last three games. Although he has a number of low-output games, he's posted double-digit points three times over his last six games, making him a volatile fantasy option.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Set for all kicking duties Sunday

Prater (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's contest versus the Seahawks, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Despite the Cards and coach Kliff Kingsbury signaling Prater was ready to resume all kicking duties for the team by cutting Rodrigo Blankenship (undisclosed) on Wednesday, Prater was limited in every practice during Week 9 prep. But Friday's injury report cleared Prater of a designation, so he'll suit up and handle kickoffs in addition to placekicking duties Sunday. On the campaign, he's averaging a measly 6.0 points in his five appearances.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Misses lone field-goal attempt

Elliott missed his only field-goal attempt but went 3-for-3 on extra points in Thursday's win over Houston.

Elliott's lone field-goal attempt was a 54-yarder as time expired in the first half. He missed it wide right. He converted all three of his extra points, with the Eagles successfully going for two following their final touchdown to extend their lead to 29-17. Elliott has made just six field goals all season, as the Eagles have continued to find the end zone so frequently that he's rarely been needed. His last successful field goal came back in Week 6.

  • Chargers' Dustin Hopkins: Ruled out for Week 9

Hopkins (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Falcons.

Hopkins will be sidelined for a second consecutive game due to a hamstring injury he suffered during Week 6. The veteran kicker was given a 2-to-4-week return timeline, so it's possible he's back for the Chargers' Week 10 matchup against the 49ers. In his stead, Taylor Bertolet will likely be elevated from the practice squad again.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Does his job in loss

Fairbairn successfully converted his lone field-goal attempt and two extra-point kicks in Thursday's 29-17 loss to Philadelphia in Week 9.

Fairbairn has been steady on field goals, converting 14 of 16 including all three from beyond 50 yards, but Houston's offense doesn't generate enough touchdowns. The team is tied for 27th in the NFL with 13.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Stays limited Thursday

Prater (hip) practiced on a limited basis Thursday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.

With Rodrigo Blankenship (undisclosed) out of the picture, Prater doesn't have any impediments to resuming all kicking duties for the Cardinals, except perhaps his own health. While coach Kliff Kingsbury said Wednesday that Prater was set to do so, he so far has had a cap in both sessions this week. Friday's injury report may paint a clearer picture regarding Prater's status ahead of Sunday's contest against the Seahawks.
