Nick Folk K | NYJ
Patriots' Nick Folk: Added to 53-man roster
Folk was officially added to the Patriots' 53-man roster Tuesday, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.
He was promoted from the practice squad for the team's opener and although Folk missed his lone field-goal attempt, a 45-yarder, in Week 1's win over the Dolphins, the team is satisfied with the veteran kicker and will retain him on the active roster. Rookie fifth-rounder Justin Rohrwasser is still on the practice squad in case Folk slips up, but moving forward, Folk will be the Patriots' kicker.

Matt Gay K | SF
Matt Gay: Signs with Colts' practice squad
Gay signed with the Colts' practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Gay spent the 2019 season with the Buccaneers and hit 77 percent of his field goals, but he lost the job to Ryan Succop to begin the season. This looks to be the start of a kicker competition in Indianapolis, as rookie Rodrigo Blankenship missed a 30-yard field goal in Week 1.

Cairo Santos K | CHI
Cairo Santos: Bumps back to practice sqaud
Santos reverted to the Bears' practice squad.
Santos was impressive in Week 1, as he connected on two field goals -- both from fewer than 40 yards -- and all three extra-point attempts. With Eddy Pineiro (groin) set to miss the next two games, Santos will be elevated ahead of Week 2's matchup against the Giants.

Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Missed PAT in opener
Boswell made both his field-goal attempts but missed one of three extra-point attempts in Monday night's 26-16 win over the Giants.
Coming off a solid 2019 season in which he converted 29 of 31 field goals and all 28 PATs, Boswell looked good for the most part. He converted field goals from 36 and 41 yards but missed his first extra point attempt of the game. He should have many more scoring opportunities given the strength of Pittsburgh's offense.

Mike Badgley K | BUF
Chargers' Michael Badgley: Knocks home multiple field goals
Badgley connected on three of his four field-goal attempts in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Bengals. He also made his lone extra-point attempt.
The Chargers' offense continually sputtered out near the red zone allowing for Badgley to knock home a couple of chip shots throughout the game. Badgley, who's lone miss came from 50 yards out, is only 50 percent on field goals from 50 or more yards, although he's attempted just four in his three-year career. Given the lack of efficient play Sunday, the 25-year-old might find it difficult to generate a similar type of fantasy production next week against the Chiefs.

Tyler Bass K | BUF
Bills' Tyler Bass: Posts first NFL points
Bass was good on two of four field-goal attempts in Sunday's win over the Jets while converting all three of his extra-point attempts.
The sixth-round rookie who beat out veteran Stephen Hauschka will certainly never forget his first NFL attempt, as replays showed the kick was actually good yet officials inexplicably ruled it as wide right. Bass's second attempt was well off, but he re-grouped to make two shorties (22 and 19) that provided valuable insurance for the Bills. While he looked a little shaky, posting nine points -- and having a legit excuse for one of his misses -- likely keeps Bass in the safe zone for now.

Zane Gonzalez K | ATL
Cardinals' Zane Gonzalez: Scores six points in opener
Gonzalez made one of three field-goal attempts and all three point-after tries during Sunday's 24-20 victory at San Francisco.
During his breakout 2019 campaign, Gonzalez missed just four field goals in 16 games, three of them from 40-49 yards. In Week 1 of this year, his misfires came from 52 and 49 yards, while his sole success was a 56-yarder. Gonzalez will look to get back on track this coming Sunday against the Washington Football Team, whose stingy defense could force the Cardinals into more FGAs than PATs.

Matt Gay K | SF
Matt Gay: Has tryout with Colts
Gay had a tryout with the Colts on Monday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Gay was waived by the Buccaneers after he lost out on a kicking competition to Ryan Succop at the close of training camp. With plenty of turnover in kicking games around the league, he should be able to land a new job at some point this season.
-
Justin Tucker K | BAL
Ravens' Justin Tucker: Busy in Week 1
Tucker connected on all five of his extra points and converted a 41-yard field goal in Sunday's win over the Browns.
The star kicker was automatic as usual, converting all of his kicks in what was a blowout win for the Ravens. Tucker had a career-low 29 field goal attempts last season, but he made up for it in the fantasy scoring column by setting a career high with 57 made extra points. It appears that a bulk of Tucker's contributions will come via the latter category this season, but he remains extremely accurate on field-goal attempts as well.

Nick Folk K | NYJ
Nick Folk: Back with practice squad
The Patriots have sent Folk back to their practice squad, Nick O'Malley of masslive.com reports.
The veteran kicker had been elevated to the team's 53-man roster in advance of Week 1 and kicked Sunday against the Dolphins, missing his only field-goal attempt (from 45 yards) and hitting three extra points. Folk now joins rookie kicker Justin Rohrwasser back on the expanded 2020 practice squad, with one of the two presumably in line to be promoted before Sunday night's game against the Seahawks.
