  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Patriots' Nick Folk: Has kick blocked in return

Folk connected on one of two field goals and his only extra-point try in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Chiefs.

After undergoing an emergency appendectomy and sitting out Week 13, Folk returned as the Patriots' starting kicker in this outing. The veteran converted on a 29-yard try but had a 41-yarder blocked in the first quarter. It's on to Cincinnati, and Folk should have plenty of opportunities to bounce back against the league's 23rd-ranked defense (25.8 points allowed per game).

  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Cowboys' Brett Maher: Facing more competition

The Cowboys are again hosting free agent kickers for workouts Monday, indicating that Maher's position with the team may not be secure, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Maher has missed a league-leading 10 field goals this season, prompting Dallas to bring in Kai Forbath, Tristan Vizcaino and Nick Rose for workouts. The team also worked out three kickers last week. Coming off a three-game losing streak, the Cowboys may opt to cut Maher in the hopes of landing a more reliable kicker.

  • Colts' Chase McLaughlin: Solid in team debut

McLaughlin connected on two of three field goals and all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 38-35 loss to the Buccaneers.

McLaughlin nailed field goals from 50 and 19 yards, but he missed one from 47. This is the rookie's third team of the season, but it should be his last move -- McLaughlin is expected to retain his starting kicker role with the Colts for the foreseeable future, as Adam Vinatieri is set to undergo season-ending knee surgery.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Scores six points in loss

Fairbairn made his lone field-goal attempt and all three extra-point kicks in Sunday's 38-24 loss to Denver in Week 14.

Fairbairn showed off his leg once again, connecting on a 54-yard field goal for Houston's lone first-half score, but that was his lone FGA. Houston fell behind 31-3 at half time, and playing for field goals was not an option in the second half. Fairbairn's made three of six from beyond the 50 this season and 10 of 16 over his career.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Stays hot in win

Boswell made all three of his field-goal tries (25, 30, 37) and both his extra-point attempts in Pittsburgh's 23-17 win over Arizona on Sunday.

Boswell capped Pittsburgh's first possession -- a 13 play drive -- with a field goal to start the scoring. Less than 90 seconds later he booted a PAT to give the Steelers a 10-0 lead. Pittsburgh hosts Buffalo in Week 15 and Boswell is one of only 16 players still on Pittsburgh's active roster from the last game between these two teams. Although he has been nearly perfect this season, fantasy owners may want to find another kicking option as the Bills yield the fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers (3.7 per game).

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYG

Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Racks up 16 points, recovers fumble

Koo went 4-for-4 on field-goal tries and 4-for-4 on extra points during Sunday's 40-20 win against Carolina.

Koo regained hold of the Falcons' starting kicker job with a strong Week 14 performance, after enduring a shaky stretch between Weeks 11 and 13 in which he missed two extra points and a field goal. Since missing those three kicks, Koo has gone 10-for-10 on field goal and PATS, converted two onside kicks, and even recovered a fumble on a kickoff return Sunday -- scooping up a loose ball that Panthers return man Greg Dortch put on the ground in the third quarter. Koo doesn't seem like a prime candidate to accumulate rampant production from the kicker position in Week 15, however, taking on a San Francisco defense that ranks No. 2 in the NFL with 1.2 field-goal attempts allowed per game this season.

  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Saints' Wil Lutz: Perfect on six attempts

Lutz made both of his field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point attempts in the Saints' 48-46 loss to the 49ers on Sunday.

Mr. Reliable was at it again, banging through all six of his kicks for another perfect afternoon. On the season, Lutz has been perfect inside of 30 yards and missed just one extra point, cementing himself as a premier fantasy option. New Orleans sports a potent offense, providing Lutz plenty of opportunities to score points. He gets the Colts for a friendly matchup in Week 15.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Sets franchise record in loss

Sanders converted seven of eight field-goal attempts during Sunday's 22-21 loss to the Jets.

Sanders accounted for all 21 of Miami's points during Sunday's divisional loss, and his seven successful field goals broke the previous franchise record of six set by Olindo Mare in 1999. The second-year pro's outstanding day comes following a Week 13 showing in which he caught a touchdown, becoming the first kicker to do so in more than 40 years. While Sanders can't be counted upon to make franchise history every week, it's certainly encouraging to see him being utilized as a key fixture of a Dolphins' offense that's provided more regular scoring opportunities as of late. He's got a favorable matchup against the Giants on deck Week 15.

  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Patriots' Nick Folk: Starting kicker against Chiefs

Folk will be the Patriots' starting kicker for Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal reports.

Folk didn't play in Week 13's loss to the Texans after undergoing an appendectomy, but his replacement -- Kai Forbath -- didn't perform well in Folk's stead. As a result, Folk will resume his duties. The 35-year-old has connected on seven of nine field-goal tries this year with his only misses coming during brutal conditions Week 12 versus Dallas.

Patriots' Nick Folk: Re-ups with Patriots

Folk (abdomen) re-signed with the Patriots on Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Folk, who underwent an appendectomy nine days ago and was subsequently released, will rejoin the Patriots in a move that was foreshadowed by the team's decision not to carry a kicker on its active roster as of Friday. Folk went 7-for-9 on field-goal attempts in his three-week stink with the Patriots in early November.
