  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Cowboys' Brett Maher: Perfect in Thanksgiving win

Maher converted his sole field-goal attempt and made all four of his extra-point tries during Thursday's win over the Redskins.

Maher made all five of his kicks during the Week 12 win. He's made 22 of 26 field-goal attempts on the year, along with 22 of 23 extra-point tries. He could be in line for a large workload during Thursday's Week 13 tilt against the Saints.

  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Saints' Wil Lutz: Dealing with back issue

Lutz was a limited practice participant Monday due to a back injury.

There wasn't any indication that Lutz was battling an injury during the Saints' Week 12 win over the Falcons, as he drilled both of his field-goal tries and all six of his extra-point attempts. The fact that the 24-year-old was still able to practice in some capacity is a positive sign, but his level of involvement in sessions Tuesday and Wednesday should prove more telling with regard to his status for Thursday's game against Dallas. Unless the Saints sign or begin working alternative options at kicker, Lutz's availability shouldn't be considered in serious peril.

  • Cardinals' Zane Gonzalez: Promoted from practice squad

The Cardinals signed Gonzalez off their practice squad Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Gonzalez is slated to take over kicking duties for Arizona beginning with the team's Week 13 matchup with the Packers after incumbent Phil Dawson (hip) was placed on injured reserve. The second-year player out of Arizona State got off to a woeful start to his NFL career in Cleveland, converting only 17 of 25 field-goal attempts (68 percent) and 28 of 31 extra-point tries (90.3 percent). The Browns released Gonzalez earlier in the season after a slight groin tear contributed to his struggles, but the 23-year-old should be at full health now. Even if Gonzalez shows improved accuracy with Arizona, he'll still rank as one of the lower-tier fantasy kickers while he's supported by a poor offense.

  • Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Misses one extra point

Hopkins made his only field-goal attempt and converted two of three extra-point tries during Thursday's 31-21 loss to the Cowboys.

Hopkins missed his first extra point of the season Thanksgiving Day. The 28-year-old's fantasy stock took a significant hit after quarterback Alex Smith (lower leg) was lost for the season Week 11, and he'll be difficult to trust down the stretch. Hopkins has made only one field-goal attempt in each of his last two games.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Buccaneers' Cairo Santos: Keeps ledger flawless in win

Santos nailed field-goal attempts of 41 and 39 yards as well as both of his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 27-9 win over the 49ers on Sunday.

So far so good for Santos in a Tampa uniform, as he made good on his pair of field-goal tries with the Bucs while also remaining perfect on extra points. If the veteran can maintain a similar caliber of performance moving forward, he'll be one of the better fantasy options at his position down the season's stretch run.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Jets' Jason Myers: Makes history with 55-yarder

Myers made both of his field-goal attempts -- from 55 and 38 yards -- to go with an extra point in Sunday's 27-13 loss to New England.

His 55-yarder made NFL history, as Myers became the first player to successfully make five kicks from at least that distance in one season. If the Jets offense wasn't among the league's least effective, Myers would be a much more significant fantasy factor.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Throws touchdown pass

Boswell made one of two field-goal attempts (41) and converted both his extra-point attempts during Sunday's 24-17 loss to Denver.

His dreadful season continued when safety Justin Simmons blocked Boswell's 48-yard field goal attempt on Pittsburgh's first offensive drive of the game. However, he more than made up for the miss when the Steelers executed a timely fake field goal as time expired at halftime. Boswell took the direct snap on fourth-and-goal and threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to left tackle Alejandro Villanueva to tie the game at 10. This was the first Pittsburgh offensive lineman to catch a touchdown pass since Ray Pinney did it against the Browns in 1983. The touchdown pass notwithstanding, Boswell continues to struggle and has a tough Week 13 game against the Chargers, who allow opposing kickers just 6.1 points per game this season.

  • Mike Badgley K | BUF

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Perfect kicking performance

Badgley made his only field-goal attempt and six extra-point attempts in the 45-10 win over the Cardinals on Sunday.

Badgley put his struggles from last week behind him, connecting on all seven of his kicking attempts over the course of the afternoon. Badgley has missed just one kick in his brief tenure as the starter, but so long as the Chargers continue their excellence in the red zone, the rookie's kicking opportunities remain limited.

  • Marshall Koehn: Rejoins Giants' practice squad

Koehn signed with the Giants' practice squad on Friday.

Koehn's spot on the practice squad comes following the release of tight end Garrett Dickerson. The 26-year-old was previously released from New York's practice squad Oct. 12, but he's rejoined the group as an emergency option at the kicker position behind starter Aldrick Rosas.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: One field-goal attempt vs. Bears

Prater converted his lone field-goal attempt and his only PAT during Thursday's 23-16 loss to the Bears.

Going up against the Bears' third-ranked scoring defense (19.2 points allowed per game), the Lions predictably had trouble moving the ball most of the game. However, the veteran could be in for a bounce-back effort in Week 13 when the Lions host the Rams' 23rd-ranked scoring defense (25.6). Through 11 games, Prater has successfully converted 20 of 23 field-goal tries and all 22 of his PATs.
