Matt Bryant K | ATL
Falcons' Matt Bryant: Sits out practice Thursday
Falcons head coach Dan Quinn said Bryant (back) will be held out of practice Thursday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Bryant was also sidelined at Wednesday's practice with the injury, so it appears the back injury could be significant enough to force him out of Sunday's tilt with the Dolphins. The Falcons will wait and see if Bryant can get on the practice field Friday in some capacity, but if the veteran is forced to miss his first game of the season, Mike Meyer, who was signed to the practice squad Wednesday, would likely be promoted to the active roster to handle kicking duties.

Falcons' Matt Bryant: Dealing with back injury
The Falcons expect Bryant, who is dealing with a back injury, to be ready for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
Coming out of a bye week, Bryant was held out of Wednesday's practice and is set to appear on the injury report for the first time this season, per McClure. The Falcons signed Mike Meyer to the practice squad Wednesday, hinting at some level of uncertainty regarding Bryant's status for Sunday against Miami. With the Falcons playing at home and heavily favored, Bryant will be one of the top options at his position if he's able to play.

Connor Barth K | CHI
Bears' Connor Barth: Tallies one point in Week 5
Barth converted an extra point, but didn't attempt a field goal in Monday's loss to the Vikings.
The Bears struggled to move the ball consistently against a stout Minnesota defense, and Barth wasn't called upon to attempt a field goal. In addition, after the team scored its second touchdown of the night, it opted to go for a two-point conversion. Playing on a low-volume offense, he's a weak fantasy option.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Rams' Greg Zuerlein: Misses first field goal of 2017
Zuerlein connected on one of his two field-goal attempts and hit an extra-point kick during Sunday's 16-10 loss to Seattle.
Zuerlein was perfect through the first four games of the season and also converted seven field goals in the previous week's win over Dallas. While fantasy owners were stung with a disappointing showing against Seattle, Zuerlein's unblemished streak wasn't going to last the entire year. The biggest takeaway from Sunday is that Los Angeles moved the ball well enough to provide him with opportunities against a strong Seattle defense. Zuerlein projects to remain a serviceable option in the majority of settings.

Justin Tucker K | BAL
Ravens' Justin Tucker: Turns in best outing of season Sunday
Tucker converted all three of his field-goal attempts and all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's win over the Raiders.
His 12 total points easily marked a season high for Tucker, who had attempted just four field goals in the last three weeks heading into Sunday. Tucker benefitted from Baltimore's success on offense as the Ravens were able to push into plus territory far more than they had during their two-game skid. The Ravens will return to Baltimore for Week 6, where Tucker has converted 83.9 percent of his field goal attempts over his career.

Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Connects on five field goals
Butker made all five of his field-goal attempts and three extra-point tries in Sunday's 42-34 win over the Texans.
A week after knocking home a game-winning field goal with four seconds remaining against Washington, Butker backed it up with a perfect showing in Week 5. He will attempt to keep things rolling next week against the Steelers.

Zane Gonzalez K | ATL
Browns' Zane Gonzalez: Botches two field goals versus Jets
Gonzalez missed both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Jets. He converted both extra points.
Gonzalez left six points and likely a win on the board by missing from 52 yards and 39 yards. The rookie kicker -- who beat out Cody Parkey in training camp -- has now missed a whopping three field goals out of five attempts and could find himself on the hot seat.

Giorgio Tavecchio K | ATL
Raiders' Giorgio Tavecchio: Production remains limited by struggling offense
Tavecchio made his lone field-goal attempt from 32 yards to go along with a pair of extra points during Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Ravens.
Tavecchio has attempted just four fields goals throughout the Raiders' past four games and has yet to miss a single attempt this season. With quarterback Derek Carr (back) potentially returning from injury in Week 6 against the Chargers, the Raiders offense will look to get back on track and add to Tavecchio's scoring opportunities.

Matt Prater K | BUF
Lions' Matt Prater: Perfect with limited opportunities
Prater converted his only field-goal attempt and all three PATs during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Panthers.
Prater didn't get many opportunities to score in this one, as the Lions largely struggled to move the ball through both the ground and air until late in the contest. While it's concerning that he's been limited to one field-goal attempt in three of five games this year, Prater attempted at least two field goals in 13 of 17 games last season, which suggests he should see a larger workload more often than not moving forward.

Nick Folk K | NYJ
Buccaneers' Nick Folk: Moved to IR
The Buccaneers placed Folk, who had been experiencing tendinitis in the knee of his (left) plant leg, on injured reserve Monday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The injury is only a minor concern for Folk and likely wouldn't have affected his availability for the Buccaneers' Week 6 matchup with the Cardinals, but the move to IR will delay his inevitable release after the team signed Patrick Murray in a corresponding move to serve as its new placekicker. Folk lost the gig after missing three field goals in Tampa Bay's Week 5 loss to the New England, which came after he misfired on a pair of field goals and extra points across the team's first three contests of the season. Once Folk is deemed healthy, he'll be released off injured reserve and become eligible to sign elsewhere, but the accuracy issues he's displayed to date may limit the interest of other teams.
