  • Travis Coons K | LAR

Browns' Travis Coons: Missed his first attempt of the season

Coons went two for three on extra points in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals, missing his first attempt of the season.

Coons was perfect from the field going into Sunday's game, but nobody is perfect - especially in sports. The Browns' offense rarely allows Coons to put points on the board, but when he does get a shot, he more often than not sinks his attempts. However, Coons' missed extra point attempt doesn't change much - because the Browns don't put him in a position to score often - Coons is not as valuable as many other kickers from a fantasy standpoint.

  • Blair Walsh K | ATL

Vikings' Blair Walsh: Makes all three field goal attempts

Walsh made all three field-goal attempts, including a game-winning 36-yard field goal as time expired, in Sunday's win over Chicago. He also made both two extra-point attempts.

After struggling in the preseason and in the team's first few games (missing two field goals and an extra point), Walsh has turned his season around the past three games. He's make all 11 field goal attempts the past three games including six from 40 yards or more.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Hits a field goal and extra point

Boswell made his lone field goal (32) and extra point attempt in Pittsburgh's 16-10 loss to Cincinnati on Sunday.

Even with the return of Ben Roethlisberger (knee), the Steelers' offense never got going against the Bengals, and the loss of Le'Veon Bell (knee) in the first half didn't help matters. Still, Boswell converted his only scoring opportunities and remains perfect since assuming the kicking duties in Week 5, and faces a Raiders' defense in Week 9 that has yielded an average of 9.6 points to opposing kickers.

  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Jets' Nick Folk: Scores eight points

Folk connected on both of his field-goal attempts and added a pair of extra points Sunday against the Raiders.

The Jets were dominated by the Raiders, but Folk was able to kick both of his field goals while the game was still in the first half. He has now connected on multiple field goals in each of his last four games while scoring at least eight points in each of those contests.

  • Jason Myers K | SEA

Jaguars' Jason Myers: Could be replaced

Jaguars head coach Gus Bradley did not rule out the possibility of bringing in kickers to push for Myers' job, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.

Myers has made eight of his 11 field-goal attempts and 15 of his 18 extra-point tries. Even if he keeps the job after Jacksonville's Week 8 bye, he'll probably be one or two misses away from losing his spot on the roster. The Jacksonville offense has come a long ways since last season, but the unit still ranks in the bottom 10 for both yards and points per game.

  • Redskins' Dustin Hopkins: Strong start to the season

Hopkins has been a bright spot through Week 7, making 11 of 12 field goals including 2 of 3 from 50+ yards.

Hopkins was brought in because of his strong leg on kickoffs but his accuracy on field goals has been a pleasant surprise.

  • Connor Barth K | CHI

Buccaneers' Connor Barth: Tallies three field goals, three extra points in Week 7

Barth hit all three of his field goal attempts, successfully converting from 22, 45, and 21 yards, and also had three successful extra-point attempts in Sunday's 31-30 loss to the Redskins.

Barth has brought the veteran stability the Bucs were hoping for when they signed him to replace inconsistent rookie Kyle Brindza. The sixth-year placekicker is perfect two weeks into his second Tampa stint, successfully converting all six field goal and point-after attempts over that span. Barth will try to extend his impeccable streak in a Week 8 tilt against the Falcons that the Bucs will likely need plenty of scoring to stay in.

  • Matt Bryant K | ATL

Falcons' Matt Bryant: Hits a Field Goal and Extra Point

Bryant connected on a 27-yard field goal and drilled an extra point in Sunday's win over the Titans.

He also missed an attempt from 47 yards late in the final quarter that could have extended Falcons lead to six points. He has only connected on three of his last six field goal attempts, but he remains a perfect 20-for-20 on extra points on the year.

  • Nick Folk K | NYJ

Jets' Nick Folk: Scores 11 points

Folk connected on all three of his field goal attempts and added a pair of extra points Sunday against the Patriots.

Folk has been getting plenty of opportunities lately, as he's now had three field goal attempts in three of his last four games. Unfortunately, this is the first week he's been able to convert all of his chances when being given three attempts. That said, he's averaging 10 points over his last three games and is quickly becoming a starting fantasy option.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Chiefs' Cairo Santos: Makes three of four

Santos knocked home three of his four attempts in Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Following a couple quiet weeks in which he made just two field goals total, Santos received more opportunities against the Steelers again Sunday, and made the most of them. He's now made 15 of 19 attempts on the season, but kicks for an offense that has been struggling following Jamaal Charles' knee injury. The Chiefs will square off against the Lions at home this week, which could provide him a few more field goal opportunities if the Chiefs continue to finish off drives.
