Matt Prater labeled active for Week 5
Broncos kicker Matt Prater was officially ruled active for Sunday's contest against the Cowboys. Prater had been dealing with a right calf injury and was not in danger of missing any action.

Broncos in good health for Week 5
The Broncos are quite healthy heading into their Sunday game against Dallas. Only cornerback Champ Bailey (foot) and linebacker Paris Lenon (thigh) have been designated as questionable.
The rest on their injured list are probable. They include wide receiver Eric Decker (shoulder/ankle), tight end Joel Dreessen (knee), guard Chris Kuper (ankle), placekicker Matt Prater (right calf), center Manny Ramirez (rib), linebacker Danny Trevathan (knee) and defensive tackle Mitch Unrein (neck).

Bills inactives list heavy on injuries
The Bills inactive list for Week 5 against the Browns Thursday did not feature many surprises. Defensive backs Ron Brooks (foot) and Stephon Gilmore (wrist), as well as wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hand) and kicker Dustin Hopkins (groin) were all inactive, after being ruled out earlier in the week due to their injuries. Defensive back Jairus Byrd (foot) was also unable to take the field.
They are joined on the inactive list by offensive lineman Sam Young and tight end Chris Gragg.

Secondary dominates Wednesday injured list for Bills
Several Bills players are listed as either out or probable for the Thursday night game in Cleveland.
Those definitely sidelined are defensive backs Ron Brooks (foot) and Stephon Gilmore (wrist), wide receiver Marquise Goodwin (hand) and kicker Dustin Hopkins (groin).
Those designated as probable are running back Fred Jackson (knee), wide receiver Steve Johnson (hamstring), offensive lineman Kraig Urbik (knee), safety Aaron Williams (lower back), defensive end Mario Williams (ankle) and defensive tackle Kyle Williams (Achilles).
Cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hamstring), running back C.J. Spiller (ankle) and safety Jairus Byrd (foot) are questionable.

Although Bills kicker Dustin Hopkins (groin) is back practicing, he will not kick Thursday at Cleveland, coach Doug Marrone announced Tuesday. Hopkins has been inactive every game this season.

Caleb Sturgis stays perfect
Dolphins rookie kicker Caleb Sturgis nailed his only field-goal try, a 34-yarder, against the Saints and is 7 for 7 this season. He also converted two PATs.
Sturgis plays the Ravens in Week 5.

Garrett Hartley K | PIT
Garrett Hartley pushes 43-yarder wide left
Saints kicker Garrett Hartley hit 1 of 2 field goals in the win over the Dolphins, converting a 29-yarder and pushing 43-yarder wide left. Hartley is 8 for 10 this season.
Hartley converted five PATs to finish with eight points. He’ll visit the Bears in Week 5.

Matt Bryant benefits from Falcons' red-zone struggles
The Falcons struggled in the red zone against the Patriots, giving Matt Bryant three field-goal tries. He cashed in from 23, 45 and 25 yards out.
Atlanta coach Mike Smith also passed up a short field goal in the first half, failing on a 4th-and-2 gamble from the 7-yard line.
Bryant, who's 8 for 9 on field goals this season, added two PATs. He'll play the Jets in Week 5.

Nick Folk collects seven points
Jets kicker Nick Folk converted two long-distance field goals during Sunday's game against the Titans in Week 4.
Folk drilled a 45-yard field goal attempt early in the second quarter and then converted a 47-yard shot in the second quarter. He went 2 for 2 in field goal attempts and added one extra point, finishing with seven points in a 38-13 defeat.
