  • Commanders' Zane Gonzalez: Set to kick in Week 10

The Commanders elevated Gonzalez from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.

Washington signed Gonzalez to the practice squad Friday, and he was activated one day later due to the team's primary placekicker, Austin Seibert, being ruled out for Week 10 due to a hip injury. Gonzalez will consequently take Seibert's place Sunday against the Steelers. Gonzalez hasn't kicked in an NFL game since 2021, when he went 20-for-22 on field-goal tries and 22-for-23 on extra-point attempts over 12 appearances with Carolina.

  • Bengals' Evan McPherson: Doesn't attempt any FGs in Week 10

McPherson converted all four of his extra-point tries and did not attempt a field goal in Thursday's loss to Baltimore.

McPherson came through when called upon, but all of his kicks were PATs. The Bengals opted to try for a two-point conversion on their final touchdown with less than 40 seconds remaining in the contest, costing McPherson a fifth point-after attempt and resulting in a loss when the team was unable to convert. McPherson has made more than one field goal just once over his past six contests.

  • Ravens' Justin Tucker: Misses first PAT of season

Tucker went 3-for-4 on extra-point tries and did not attempt a field goal in Thursday's 35-34 win over Cincinnati.

Tucker missed a key extra point early in the fourth quarter, though the Ravens were able to make up for the lost point by succeeding on a two-point conversion following their next touchdown. The missed PAT was Tucker's first since Week 6 of last season and just the seventh of his career. Tucker was also held without a field goal Thursday for the third time on the campaign.

  • Jake Moody K | SF

49ers' Jake Moody: Set to return Sunday

Moody (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay.

The 49ers have cycled through three kickers this season -- also, Matthew Wright (shoulder) and Anders Carlson -- due to injuries. Moody kicked off Week 10 prep with back-to-back limited sessions but practiced in full Friday, so he's been cleared to return for the first time since he sustained a right high-ankle sprain during a Week 5 loss to the Cardinals.

  • Commanders' Austin Seibert: Questionable for Week 10

Seibert (hip) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Seibert was able to get in a limited practice Friday after going DNP on Thursday. The Commanders haven't made any moves at the position and don't currently roster a kicker on the practice squad.

  • Zane Gonzalez: Picked up by Washington

The Commanders signed Gonzalez to their practice squad Friday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.

Gonzalez's most recent in-game action came in 2022 with the Panthers, when he appeared in 12 regular-season games, making 20 of his 22 field-goal attempts and converting 22 of his 23 extra-point tries. With Washington's top kicker, Austin Seibert (hip), dealing with an injury and logging a DNP to open the team's week of practice, Gonzalez has a chance to be elevated to the Commanders' active roster for Week 10's matchup against the Steelers.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Questionable versus Carolina

Gano (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Gano hasn't kicked since Week 2 but is eligible to be activated in time to kick versus Carolina, his former team. If Gano isn't activated Saturday, Jude McAtamney would be the kicker for New York.

  • Matt Prater K | ARI

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Expected to return this season

Speaking with the media Friday, coach Jonathan Gannon said he expects Prater (knee, IR) to play again this season, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Prater is eligible to come off injured reserve following the Cardinals' Week 11 bye, but it's unclear if he'll be activated when eligible. In his place, Chad Ryland has converted 10 of 11 field-goal tries and all nine of his extra-point attempts.

  • Anders Carlson: Signs to Jets' practice squad

The Jets signed Carlson to their practice squad Friday.

Carlson looks like the favorite to kick for the Jets on Sunday against the Cardinals after the team waived Riley Patterson in a separate move Friday. Carlson kicked in two games for the 49ers in Weeks 7 and 8, but he was cut earlier in the week with Jake Moody (ankle) looking ready to return. Carlson went 5-for-5 on field goals for San Francisco and made three of his four extra-point tries.

  • Riley Patterson: Cut by New York

The Jets waived Patterson on Friday.

Kicking in his first game for New York last Thursday night against the Texans, Patterson made all three of his extra points but didn't attempt a field goal. The Jets apparently felt it wasn't good enough and decided to sign Anders Carlson to the practice squad Friday. Greg Zuerlein (knee) remains on injured reserve for at least three more games.
