  • Browns' Baker Mayfield: Avoids concussion in win

Mayfield completed 22 of 32 passes for 190 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Ravens.

Mayfield also rushed six times for 14 yards and was briefly evaluated for a concussion prior to being cleared to return to action, Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram reports. The signal-caller's touchdown passes came on consecutive drives during the first half, finding Jarvis Landry from nine yards before hitting Austin Hooper from one yard. Although he then threw an interception on the next series after his scores, Mayfield still did enough to lead Cleveland to a narrow victory. With a touchdown pass in five straight games, he'll now strive to extend his streak in Week 15 versus the Raiders.

  • Football Team's Taylor Heinicke: Hurts knee Sunday

Heinicke suffered a knee injury during Sunday's contest against the Cowboys.

Heinicke spent much of Week 14 running for his life versus a fearsome Dallas pass rush, taking four sacks and seven quarterback hits overall. If he's unable to return, he'll have put together a dreadful passing line -- 11-for-25 for 122 yards, one touchdown and one interception -- to go with three carries for eight yards. Heinicke actually left this game in both the first and second half for spells, so he appears poised to have practice limitations in the coming days. Kyle Allen replaced Heinicke under center.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Dealing with right ankle issue

Jackson (ankle), who was carted to the locker room after taking a hit in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Browns, finished the contest with four completions for 17 yards and two carries for five yards, NFL.com reports.

Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Baltimore's star QB, who was replaced by Tyler Huntley, was unable to put any pressure on his right foot prior to being carted off, so it's possible that Jackson's status for next Sunday's game against the Packers could be in danger.

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Suffers ankle injury

Jackson was carted to the locker room after suffering an ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Browns.

Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, prior to being carted off, Jackson was unable to put any pressure on right foot. In his absence, Tyler Huntley is in at QB for the Ravens.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Toe injury expected to linger

Rodgers' fractured left pinkie toe isn't expected to fully heal until after the season, but the quarterback still intends to play through the issue, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The toe injury first surfaced after Rodgers missed the Packers' Week 9 loss to the Chiefs following a positive COVID-19 test, but he's proceeded to start Green Bay's subsequent three games, completing 64.3 percent of his throws for 8.6 yards per attempt and a 6:1 TD:INT while leading his team to a 2-1 record during that stretch. Rodgers relayed that his toe showed some improvement during the Packers' Week 13 bye, but unless he gets some extended time off to rest up, the injury will likely continue to linger until after the season. According to Schefter, doctors are unable to completely numb the pain in Rodgers' toe because he needs to have complete feeling in his foot when he plants it on the field. Since Rodgers wouldn't be able to play if he underwent an operation that would require the insertion of a pin into his foot, he'll delay the decision on any surgery until after the regular season and any playoff contests that follow.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Should be ready for Week 15

Hurts (ankle) is expected to be fully healthy and available to start in the Eagles' next game Week 15 versus Washington, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Hurts' sprained left ankle caused him to miss his first game of the season Week 13, clearing the way for Gardner Minshew to pick up a spot start. The third-year signal-caller was impressive in place of Hurts, completing 20 of 25 attempts for 242 yards and two touchdowns to guide the Eagles to a 33-18 win over the Jets. Despite Minshew's outstanding showing and Hurts' inconsistency as a passer through the team's first 12 games, head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed after the win over the Jets that the latter would retain the starting job coming out of the Eagles' Week 14 bye, if healthy. Hurts looks like he'll be ready to go for the matchup with Washington, but he likely won't be officially confirmed as the team's starter until he resumes practicing as a full participant in the next few days.

  • Jake Fromm QB | DET

Giants' Jake Fromm: Set for backup role again

Fromm will back up Mike Glennon on Sunday at the Chargers after the latter cleared the concussion protocol Friday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

The potential existed for Fromm to earn his first NFL action with Glennon subject to an examination from an independent neurologist in order to play this weekend. Instead, Glennon will get a second spot start for Daniel Jones, who hasn't been cleared for contact as he deals with a strained neck. As a result, Fromm seemingly is one play away from seeing his initial regular-season snap as a pro after he logged time during the 2021 preseason with the Bills.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Texans' Deshaun Watson: Ruled out for Week 14

Watson (not injury-related) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks.

Watson is still on the Texans' roster, but he's in line to be on the team's inactive list for the rest of the season. Meanwhile, Davis Mills is on track to handle Houston's starting quarterback duties Sunday, with Tyrod Taylor slated to serve as his backup.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Another absence on tap

Jones (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest against the Chargers, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Jones has been unable to gain clearance to play through a strained neck and thus will miss his second straight game. As for his replacement under center, Mike Glennon made enough progress through the concussion protocol this week to log a full practice Friday, and coach Joe Judge stated confidence that Glennon will clear the final phase -- an examination with an independent neurologist -- in time to play Sunday, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com. According to Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record, Glennon did just that late Friday, giving him another spot start while Jake Fromm will serve as the backup.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Clear for Week 14

Burrow (finger) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports.

Burrow emerged from Week 13 action versus the Chargers with a balky pinkie finger, which he dislocated but was able to play through en route to 24-for-40 passing for 300 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. While he didn't practice Wednesday and was a limited participant Thursday, he capped the week with a full session Friday, clearing him to suit up Sunday. Coach Zac Taylor told Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site that Burrow won't have any limitations Week 14, but there are question marks in the Bengals skill positions, as the statuses of both running back Joe Mixon (illness) and Tee Higgins (ankle) are up in the air heading into the weekend.
