Case Keenum QB | CHI
Redskins' Case Keenum: Ruled out for rest of Thursday
Keenum (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's game against the Vikings.
Keenum's concussion paves the way for Dwayne Haskins to finish this game. If Haskins performs well, it's possible he takes over the starting quarterback job moving forward regardless of Keenum's status, though interim coach Bill Callahan said after the game that Keenum would remain the starter if healthy in Week 9.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Redskins' Case Keenum: In concussion protocol
Keenum is in concussion protocol to start the second half of Thursday's game against Minnesota, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports. Rookie Dwayne Haskins is under the center to start the second half.
Keenum hit his head on the turf late in the first half, and he couldn't gain clearance to return during halftime. While Keenum's return should be considered questionable at this point, it's more likely than not that Haskins will finish out this contest.

Colt McCoy QB | ARI
Redskins' Colt McCoy: Inactive again Thursday
McCoy (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Thursday's game at Minnesota.
With interim coach Bill Callahan running the show, McCoy has been inactive for three contests while Dwayne Haskins backs up Case Keenum. The status quo likely will remain without an injury to one of the Redskins' top two quarterbacks.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Logs full practice Thursday
Rodgers (knee) practiced in full Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Rodgers rid himself of the injury designation one day removed from being limited at Wednesday's walkthrough. With the knee issue behind him, he can focus on becoming the first signal-caller this season to throw for 300-plus yards against the Chiefs defense.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Jets' Sam Darnold: Logs full practice
Darnold (toe) practiced fully Thursday.
Per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Darnold relayed that he's feeling fine after having a toenail on his left foot removed earlier in the week and his return to a full practice session Thursday removes any doubt about the QB's Week 8 availability. Darnold will now look to engineer a bounce-back effort Sunday against the Jaguars, after a horrid performance in this past Monday's 33-0 loss to the Patriots.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Jets' Sam Darnold: Downplays toenail issue
Darnold said after Thursday's practice that he's feeling fine after having a toenail on his left foot removed earlier in the week and indicated he's in no danger of missing Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Though Darnold said he experienced no restrictions as a result of the toenail, he's still expected to be listed as a limited participant on Thursday's practice report. Darnold should step up his activity at Friday's session, firmly erasing any concern about his Week 8 availability in the process.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Making progress
Mahomes (knee) "looked like he was moving around better" while doing individual drills at Thursday's practice, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Mahomes -- who worked behind Matt Moore on Thursday -- is destined to be listed by the team as a limited practice participant. While his progress since dislocating the patella in his right knee this past Thursday has been highly encouraging, we'd still be very surprised if he suited up for Sunday night's game against the Packers. With that in mind, the Chiefs have yet to rule the QB out for that contest, but Friday's final Week 8 injury report figures to deliver clarity on that front.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Jets' Sam Darnold: Limited Thursday
Darnold (toe) will be a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Darnold was able to participate in individual drills Wednesday, despite officially being listed as a non-participant on the injury report. The quarterback is clearly hampered by having a toenail removed after Monday's blowout loss to the Patriots, but it would still be fairly surprising at this point if Darnold was forced to miss any game action because of it.

Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Listed as limited participant
Rodgers (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Rodgers' practice reps have been restricted in both of the Packers' previous two games, only for the signal-caller to complete 70 percent of his passes for 712 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception during that stretch. The output is even more impressive considering the Packers offense is operating without Davante Adams (toe) at the moment. Assuming he enters the weekend without a designation, as he's done before the aforementioned contests, Rodgers will be looking to tee off again Sunday against a Chiefs defense that has yet to allow a 300-yard passer this season.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Listed as limited participant
Mahomes (knee) was officially listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.
The fact that Mahomes was out there at all after dislocating the patella in his right knee this past Thursday was highly encouraging, though Adam Teicher of ESPN.com relays that the star signal-caller was "fourth in the quarterback line (Wednesday) behind Matt Moore, Kyle Shurmur and Chad Henne (ankle)." On Monday, coach Andy Reid acknowledged that it would be a "stretch'' for Mahomes to play Sunday night against the Packers, and that's a notion we still hold, though it may not be until Friday that the team officially rules him out for Week 8.
