At this stage, the Buccaneers have no plans to shut Winston (shoulder) down for the rest of the season.

Coach Dirk Koetter relayed Monday that the expectation remains that Winston will play again this season, but for now the QB is resting his throwing shoulder and Ryan Fitzpatrick will remain the team's starting signal-caller in Week 11, backed up by Ryan Griffin. Once Winston's shoulder is re-evaluated, the Bucs will determine how best to move forward with their franchise QB, but at this juncture it remains to be seen exactly when that will transpire.

Barkley has signed with the Cardinals.

Barkley gives the Cardinals some added QB depth, with Carson Palmer (arm) on IR and current starter Drew Stanton dealing with a knee sprain. In any case, he's also behind Blaine Gabbert on the team's depth chart, so game action is not imminent for Barkley in his return to the team.

Although Taylor struggled in Sunday's drubbing at the hands of the Saints, coach Sean McDermott insisted Taylor will remain the starting quarterback, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. "Because I believe in Tyrod," said McDermott. "Tyrod is our starter. That's what I said [Sunday]. I know what Tyrod has done and I also know what Nate [Peterman] has done. Tyrod is our starter."

Taylor may not be an elite quarterback, but he's done enough good things this season -- not to mention his 10:3 TD:INT ratio -- with a questionable offense that he'll be given some leash. The Bills are also in the thick of the wild-card battle, so while switching to rookie Nathan Peterman might appease some portion of the fan base, it seems prudent to stick with the guy that's performed at least capably for three seasons. That said, if the Bills keep losing games and stop playing for this season, they may opt to get an extensive look at Peterman.

Mariota (ankle/shoulder) is listed as a limited participant on Monday's injury report, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone reports.

While the Titans didn't actually practice, their estimation that Mariota would've been a limited participant supports the notion that he's in in no real danger of missing Thursday's game against the Steelers. He played through a mild ankle sprain and sore shoulder in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Bengals, directing an impressive game-winning drive in the final minutes. Pittsburgh has been tough against the pass for most of the season, but the past two weeks have been a different story, with Matt Stafford throwing for 423 yards and Jacoby Brissett tossing a pair of long touchdowns.

Though Mariota is nursing a sore shoulder and mild ankle sprain, his status for Thursday night's game against the Steelers is in no danger, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

Moreover, Mariota will continue to see his normal allotment of practice reps in advance of the contest, as he works his way through what appears to be a pair of minor ailments. We'll circle back later on the QB's status, however, to see how his participation is classified on the Titans' first injury report of Week 11.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien said Monday that Savage will start Week 11 against the Cardinals.

Savage was predictably ineffective in Sunday's 33-7 loss to the Rams, but there isn't any reason to think T.J. Yates would be significantly better. The Texans will eventually give Yates or Josh Johnson a look if Savage doesn't display something in the range of competence within the next week or two. If nothing else, this is at least good news for DeAndre Hopkins, who was targeted on 30 of Savage's 80 pass attempts the past three games. Savage also forced the ball to Hopkins when he got playing time in 2014 and 2016.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan hasn't decided whether Garoppolo or C.J. Beathard will start Week 12 against the Seahawks, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

With the 49ers on bye Week 11, the Nov. 26 game against Seattle has always seemed like the logical date for Garoppolo to make his first start. Beathard's excellent performance in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Giants might encourage Shanahan to wait a bit longer, though one strong outing against a terrible team doesn't make up for the three consecutive ugly starts that preceded it. If the Niners don't switch quarterbacks right after the bye week, it'll likely be the product of a desire to get a larger sample for evaluation on Beathard, before the team eventually moves on to Garoppolo evaluation mode.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said he has a plan for Week 11 against the Rams, but he declined to specify whether than plan features Keenum or Teddy Bridgewater as the starter, ESPN.com's Courtney Cronin reports.

Keenum completed 21 of 29 passes for 304 yards and four scores in Sunday's 38-30 win over the Redskins, but his interceptions on back-to-back drives in the second half opened a window for Washington to make a comeback. While Keenum seemingly has played well enough to keep the starting job -- at least for another week -- the Vikings may be anxious to see how Bridgewater looks in a game for the first time since 2015. It's an unusual situation for a likely playoff team on a five-game winning streak, with Keenum, Bridgewater and Sam Bradford (knee) all slated to become unrestricted free agents after the season. Minnesota's tough schedule over the next four weeks should ensure that winning continues to take precedent over talent evaluation, though the Vikings can always take Bridgewater for a brief spin and then turn back to Keenum if it doesn't work out. If recent history is any guide, Zimmer probably won't name his Week 11 starter any earlier than Wednesday.

Peterman saw his first regular-season action as a pro during garbage time of Sunday's blowout loss to the Saints, completing seven of 10 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions.

The rookie was impressive all preseason and there was even talk of him winning the starting job for a rebuilding team, but in the end the Bills wisely went with Tyrod Taylor. The veteran and the team have performed better than expected, at least until the last two games. Taylor and the entire starting offense were off their game Sunday, and even though the Bills are reeling all of a sudden, coach Sean McDermott quickly put any thought of a quarterback change to rest. While that's out of the way, we could see Peterman more down the stretch if the Bills fall out of the playoff chase.

Beathard completed 19 of 25 pass attempts for 288 yards, two touchdowns and one interception Sunday against the Giants. He also carried five times for 15 yards and a touchdown in the 31-21 win.

Beathard connected on an impressive 76 percent of his passes while averaging a healthy 11.5 yards per attempt. He found Marquise Goodwin on an 83-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and hit Garrett Celek for a 47-yard score just before the half. Beathard posted a solid yardage total for the second straight week and has now scored rushing touchdowns in three of his last four starts. Despite his improvement of late, the rookie could lose the starting gig to the newly acquired Jimmy Garoppolo after the team's upcoming bye week.
