  • Kirk Cousins QB | LV

Redskins' Kirk Cousins: Scores with his legs

Cousins completed 26 of 45 passes for 327 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Sunday's 38-30 loss to the Vikings. He added five yards and two touchdowns on four carries.

Cousins was held to one or fewer passing touchdowns for the fifth time in nine games in 2017 but scored his second and third rushing touchdowns of the season, bringing his total to 12 since taking over as Washington's starter in 2015. Cousins is putting together another nice statistical season, but he's been a little uneven while working with a receiving corps featuring some new faces. He connected on 10 of his 14 touchdown passes for the season during a four-game stretch from Weeks 3 through 7, putting together a quarterback rating of 119.7. During the five games on either side of that stretch, he's completed just four touchdown passes with a more pedestrian 83.5 QB rating. Cousins takes on a red-hot Saints squad next week.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Leads last-minute touchdown drive in Week 10 win

Mariota completed 25 of 44 passes for 264 yards with a touchdown and an interception while adding 51 yards on six carries in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Bengals.

While DeMarco Murray finished off the team's first drive with a two-yard touchdown run, Mariota set the whole thing up with a 28-yard run of his own and a pair of 20-yard completions. The quarterback also set up a first-half Cincinnati touchdown, however, throwing an interception deep in his own territory. Mariota made amends when it mattered most, capping a 12-play, 73-yard drive with a seven-yard touchdown pass to Murray with 36 seconds left after the Bengals took their first lead with 5:03 to play. He's taken a major step back with a 7:6 touchdown-to-interception ratio in eight appearances after posting a 26:9 mark last year.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Two touchdowns, two fumbles in loss

Dalton completed 20 of 35 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns while losing two fumbles in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Titans.

Dalton connected with Brandon LaFell for a 37-yard score in the first quarter and added a 70-yard touchdown to A.J. Green in the fourth. The latter touchdown gave Cincinnati a 20-17 lead with 5:03 to play, but Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota was able to orchestrate a late touchdown drive of his own to win the game for the hosts. Dalton's two first-half fumbles were both costly, as the first one led to a Tennessee touchdown and the second came on 1st-and-goal from the nine-yard line.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Vikings' Case Keenum: Tosses four scores

Keenum completed 21 of 29 passes for 304 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 38-30 win over Washington.

Washington has given plenty of top-shelf quarterbacks trouble this season, including Russell Wilson and Derek Carr. During parts of Sunday, however, Keenum -- Minnesota's starter only because of the bad knees of Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater -- looked like Joe Montana with four touchdown passes in the first 33 minutes of the game. He has now thrown multiple touchdowns in back-to-back games after just one such performance in his first six outings of the year. He cooled off in the second half and threw a pair of late interceptions to help Washington claw back into the game, but Keenum is looking good in Pat Shurmur's horizontal offense, particularly on the move, from which he tossed three of his scores. The activation of Bridgewater will draw headlines, but how itchy can Minnesota's trigger finger be when Keenum has led the team to five straight victories?

  • Colts' Jacoby Brissett: In concussion protocol

Brissett is in the NFL's concussion protocol after developing symptoms following Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Steelers, Stephen Holder of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Per the report, the QB was checked out twice during the course of Sunday's game, but he was deemed able to carry on. In the process, Brissett completed 14 of 24 passes for 222 yards with two TDs and a pick to go along with four carries for seven yards. Brissett will now have added time to recover from his concussion symptoms, considering the Colts are on bye in Week 11.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Three second-half touchdowns in comeback win

Stafford completed 17 of 26 passes for 249 yards with three touchdowns and one interception while adding 17 yards on four carries in Sunday's 38-24 win over Cleveland.

Stafford got some help from his teammates early on, as Detroit's two first-half touchdowns came on a running play and a fumble recovery. The league's highest-paid quarterback earned his money late, however, turning a 24-17 deficit into a 38-24 win with three touchdown passes in the final 16 minutes. Those scores of eight, 29 and 40 yards raised Stafford's TD:INT ratio to 17:5 on the season.

  • Vikings' Teddy Bridgewater: Makes long-awaited return

Bridgewater (knee) is listed as active Sunday at Washington, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Making his long-awaited return from a devastating knee injury, Bridgewater will take on a backup role to Case Keenum while he prepares for his first action since the Vikings' wild-card loss to the Seahawks in January of 2016. Keenum has a firm hold on the starting gig at the moment, but head coach Mike Zimmer will likely want to see how Bridgewater reacts to live snaps at some point this season.

  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Team violated concussion protocol

The Seahawks violated the NFL's concussion protocol in the third quarter Thursday's win over the Cardinals after allowing Wilson to reenter the game without first going to the locker room and receiving clearance from a team doctor and independent physician, a source informed Adam Schefter of ESPN.com reports.

After Wilson took a hard hit to the chin from the Cardinals' Karlos Dansby midway through the third quarter, referee Walt Anderson removed the quarterback from the contest in order for him to undergo concussion testing. Backup Austin Davis briefly entered the contest in Wilson's stead, but Wilson ended up checking back into the contest before medical officials could evaluate him. He then remained in the game the rest of the way, relaying afterward that he did in fact pass a concussion test. It appears the NFL is disputing Wilson's claim, but even if it is formally ruled within the next couple weeks that the concussion protocol was violated, the Seahawks would likely face some sort of fine, while Wilson himself probably wouldn't be subject to any discipline from the league.

  • Matt Barkley QB | JAC

Matt Barkley: Expected to sign with Arizona

The Cardinals are expected to finalize a contract with Barkley ahead of the team's Week 11 game against the Texans, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports.

Making his second start in place of Carson Palmer (arm) during Thursday's loss to the Seahawks, Drew Stanton was unable to escape the contest unscathed, with the veteran quarterback diagnosed with a sprained knee following the game. According to Mortensen, the Cardinals are fearful that Stanton could miss at least the Week 11 game with the injury, so Barkley will be brought in to provide additional depth. If Stanton is in fact ruled out for Week 11, Blaine Gabbert would likely start the contest while Barkley would act as the team's backup.

  • Cardinals' Blaine Gabbert: Could draw Week 11 start

Gabbert could get a rare start under center in the Cardinals' Week 11 matchup against the Texans, as replacement starer Drew Stanton is nursing a sprained knee, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports.

Stanton reportedly suffered the injury in Thursday's loss to the Cardinals. Gabbert has not started a game since Week 5 of the 2016 season for the 49ers. It remains to be seen how serious Stanton's injury is, but the practice reps next week should indicate the likelihood of Gabbert actually drawing the start. The team is expected to bring back Matt Barkley for insurance.
