Cousins completed 19 of 29 passes for 270 yards and a touchdown while rushing the ball five times for 30 yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's 41-21 win over the Bears.

Cousins emerged as a dual-threat quarterback in Washington's most important game of the season thus far, keeping its playoff hopes alive for at least the moment. Just before the half, the quarterback scrambled into the end zone from nine yards out and then punched in a one-yard carry toward the end of the third to secure a Redskins' victory. After a below-average performance in Monday's loss to the Panthers, Cousins redeemed himself in the passing game Sunday, connecting with eight different wideouts on several big plays. His lone touchdown pass came late in the first quarter when he found Chris Thompson on a dump-off pass from 17 yards out. It's the first time in the last four games that Cousins did not commit a turnover. He'll now shift his focus to the season-finale matchup with the Giants, whom he played well against in the first meeting this season, passing for 296 yards and two touchdowns.

Mariota suffered a broken fibula in his right leg during Saturday's game at Jacksonville and will miss the rest of the season.

After a third-quarter sack, Mariota's lower right leg was placed in an air cast prior to his departure from the field on a cart. With the devastating ruling handed down, the signal caller will finish with 3,426 yards, 26 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, all career bests through two seasons. More impressively, he remains unblemished in the red zone as a professional, with 33 touchdowns versus no picks. For the regular season finale on Jan. 1, the Titans will bestow veteran Matt Cassel with a spot start.

Barkley completed 24 of 40 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns while being intercepted five times in Saturday's loss to Washington.

Barkley was absolutely dreadful, though with the Bears trailing by 17 points in the second quarter, he was able to pile up meaningless numbers. Despite throwing for over 300 yards with multiple touchdowns in the game, he was intercepted on four straight possessions in the second half, and he's now turned the ball over nine times over the last two weeks. With it being unlikely that the Bears will be playing from way behind in Week 17 against the Vikings, he's looking like a fantasy option only in leagues that start two quarterbacks.

Petty (shoulder) was unable to return to Saturday's game against the Patriots.

According to Andy Vasquez of The Record, Petty said after the game that he felt his left shoulder temporarily pop out of place at the tail end of a hard hit Saturday. Ryan Fitzpatrick took over at quarterback for the remainder of the Jets' blowout loss. Fitzpatrick would be the likely candidate to start the Jets' season finale if Petty is ultimately ruled out.

Rodgers connected on 28 of 38 pass attempts for 347 yards and four touchdowns in Green Bay's 38-25 victory over the Vikings on Saturday. He added 13 yards and a rushing score on two carries.

Rodgers had his way with the Vikings' defense in the first half, tossing three of his four touchdowns and running in another for his fourth rushing score of the year. Although he took his foot off the pedal in the second half, Rodgers ultimately became the first signal caller to break the 300-yard passing threshold against Minnesota all season while notching his third game of the 2016 campaign with four touchdowns through the air. On a different note, ESPN reported Rodgers experienced the first "stinger" of his career Saturday, but he is alright and will be fine to take aim at the Detroit Lions in Week 17.

Mariota was forced out of Saturday's game against the Jaguars with an ankle injury.

Mariota, who completed eight of 20 passes for 99 yards and a TD prior to suffering his injury, was replaced by veteran QB Matt Cassel. Mariota was carted off the field with an air cast on his right ankle, so this has the look of an injury that could sidelined the QB beyond Saturday.

Keenum is inactive for Saturday's contest versus the 49ers, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.

With a losing record assured and former head honcho Jeff Fisher out of the picture, there are no illusions remaining for the Rams in their debut season in Los Angeles. Keenum is this expendable on game day with the future in mind, allowing the QB depth chart to be headed be a rookie (Jared Goff) and second-year pro (Sean Mannion).

Petty was forced out of Saturday's game against the Patriots in the first half with a left shoulder injury.

With Petty having headed to the team's locker room to be checked out, Ryan Fitzpatrick took over at QB for the Jets on Saturday.

Tannehill (knee) is officially inactive for Saturday's Week 16 tilt versus the Bills, the team's official site reports.

The designation is a mere formality, as Tannehill had already been declared out, with a return date this season still far from a certainty. Matt Moore will once again line up behind center in a pivotal matchup for the Dolphins.

Prescott and the other Cowboys starters will be in the lineup for the final two games of the regular season despite the fact the Cowboys have already clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC, The Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Both coach Jason Garrett and owner/GM Jerry Jones indicated this week that Dallas would stick to business as usual despite having no team goals left to play for. Prescott could lose some snaps in the second half of one or both games though, if the team decides to get Tony Romo and/or Mark Sanchez some game action to shake off any rust prior to the playoffs, just in case they are needed in an emergency.
