Winston and the Buccaneers have had their final preseason game moved to Wednesday due to expected weather conditions in the Tampa Bay area.

Previously scheduled for Thursday, Tampa Bay's preseason finale against Washington will now be played at 8 PM ET on Wednesday, hopefully avoiding the extreme weather conditions associated with Tropical Depression Nine. Regardless, Winston will likely be held out, or at the very most play a drive or two. He'll get a favorable Week 1 matchup against the Falcons.

Cousins will not play in Washington's preseason finale, which has been moved to Wednesday due to expected weather conditions in the Tampa Bay area.

The game will be moved up to 8 PM ET on Wednesday to avoid severe weather associated with Tropical Depression Nine. Regardless, Cousins wasn't going to play, as head coach Jay Gruden had already tabbed third-string quarterback Nate Sudfeld as the starter. Sudfeld will likely play the entire game if he doesn't get hurt, while Cousins will rest up for Week 1 against Pittsburgh.

Prescott is not expected to play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Texans, Clarence Hill of the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Prescott has already received plenty of work this preseason, completing 39 of 50 passes for 454 yards, five passing touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns and no turnovers. He played most of those snaps alongside second and third-string teammates, but with Tony Romo (back) now facing a potential absence of 6-10 weeks, Prescott is expected to fill in as the starter. While undoubtedly facing a steep transition, the fourth-round rookie does have the benefit of a strong supporting cast, led by a dominant offensive line, Dez Bryant (concussion) and Ezekiel Elliott.

Rodgers completed six of nine passes for 60 yards and a touchdown in the Packers' preseason game with the 49ers on Friday.

Rodgers played two drives Friday and was able to find paydirt on one of them. He is unlikely to play in the Packers' final exhibition game, but he looked good in limited action last week, so consider him good to go for Week 1.

Goff (back) participated in the team's practice Monday, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN reports.

Goff suffered a bruised tailbone in Saturday's matchup with the Broncos but was able to take part in practice Monday without any setbacks. The rookie went 4-for-12 for 45 yards in the contest, and played a majority of the snaps with the Rams' second unit. While Goff is set to be the team's quarterback of the future, he still projects to back up Case Keeneum for the team's season opener.

Coker (knee) was waived/injured by the Cardinals on Monday, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix reports.

As anticipated, the Cardinals ultimately opted to part ways with the Alabama product. The decision became an easy one after it was announced Monday that Coker might need arthroscopic knee surgery. Drew Stanton and Matt Barkley will likely serve as Carson Palmer's primary backups throughout the season.

Barkley is slated to play the majority of Thursday's preseason contest against the Broncos, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Barkley has had his moments this preseason, completing exactly two-thirds of his passes the last two exhibitions and tossing two touchdowns in Sunday's preseason defeat in Houston. His flaws have also shined through in the form of three interceptions, three sacks taken, and one fumble lost. As a result, his quarterback rating rings in at an undesirable 62.6, which places him on the roster bubble. More than likely, the practice squad will be his imminent home with such a competitive atmosphere in Arizona.

Head coach Gary Kubiak plans for Lynch to play the entirety of Thursday's preseason finale against the Cardinals, NFL Network's James Palmer reports.

With Trevor Siemian locked in as the Week 1 starter and Mark Sanchez a known commodity, the Broncos have every motivation to get an extended look at their 2016 first-round selection. Lynch will likely begin the season as Denver's No. 2 quarterback, with Sanchez figuring to be released or traded. Lynch will mostly be working alongside second and third-string players in Thursday's game, as the likes of Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders and C.J. Anderson won't play more than a few snaps, if at all.

Coker (knee) may need arthroscopic knee surgery, Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910 Phoenix reports.

Coker did not make the trip to Houston for Arizona's third preseason game as he continues to get opinions on his sore knee. If his knee does indeed require surgery, the former national champion quarterback very well could be out of a job.

Head coach Mike Mularkey said Mariota may play one series in Thursday's preseason finale against Miami, the Titans' official site reports.

Starters typically don't play at all in the last preseason game, but with the Titans sporting a mix of young players and new additions, there could be some slight benefit to giving the first-team offense a bit of run. Mariota probably doesn't need the final tune-up, as he's completed 23 of 36 passes for 309 yards in three preseason appearances, benefiting from Tennessee's offseason additions of DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry, Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe. The Titans also appear to have an improved offensive line, with rookie first-rounder Jack Conklin bookending Taylor Lewan at offensive tackle.
