Hoyer will visit the Broncos in addition to the Jets, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

While it's possible that the Jets are simply trying to parlay a Hoyer visit into some added leverage in terms of luring back fellow QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Broncos could present Hoyer with an interesting scenario. Specifically, a chance to compete with Mark Sanchez, now that Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler are no longer in Denver's signal-calling mix.

The Bucs have signed LeFevour to an undisclosed contract, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 29-year-old veteran passer spent the last four seasons in the CFL, and played under the tutelage of Bucs quarterback coach Mike Bajakian when the latter served as his offensive coordinator and position coach in his last three seasons at Central Michigan. The 6-foot-3 LeFevour accounted for 15,853 total yards and 150 total touchdowns from 2006-09 at the school, and has 16 touchdowns to his credit during part-time action with the Hamilton Tiger Cats and Montreal Alouettes north of the border over the last four seasons. Although he has never played an NFL snap, the versatile quarterback has professional ties to additional Bucs coaches past and present; he was drafted by the Bears and former Tampa head coach Lovie Smith in 2010, and worked with new head coach Dirk Koetter for the last six weeks of the 2011 NFL season when he was the No. 3 quarterback for the Jaguars and Koetter served as the team's offensive coordinator. LeFevour joins starter Jameis Winston and backups Mike Glennon and Ryan Griffin on the roster, and in addition to serving as training camp depth, could offer the Bucs the necessary flexibility to act on any trade offers for Glennon.

Winston was initially fearful of the domino effect former head coach Lovie Smith's firing could potentially have on his development, but was relieved when former offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter was tabbed for the job, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Winston described his first reaction to the sudden news of Smith's firing as fearful, considering that there was a strong chance at the time that the entire offensive staff could have been overhauled as well. The 2015 first-round pick's biggest worry stemmed from what he'd heard about the struggles first-year quarterbacks typically encountered when having to start over with a new system and coaching staff in their sophomore seasons. However, the hiring of last year's offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter put many of those concerns to rest. "I'm excited that coach Koetter is here,'' Winston said. "I was kind of down in the dumps because I was like what quarterback has been successful after they've lost their offensive coordinator, quarterback coach and head coach in the same year? I was just like, 'we're going through the whole process again.'" Winston set a franchise rookie record in 2015 by passing for 4,042 yards with 22 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

As the Bengals opened their voluntary workouts Monday, Dalton reiterated that he is completely cleared from the thumb injury that forced him out of action at the end of the 2015 season, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The QB -- who is now working under new offensive coordinator Ken Zampese -- was given the green light to throw at the beginning of March. While the Bengals lost both Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu in free agency, they did bring in Brandon LaFell as an experienced complement to star wideout A.J. Green. The team also welcomes back a healthy Tyler Eifert at tight end and continues to roster a capable backfield duo featuring the bruising Jeremy Hill and pass-catching back Giovani Bernard.

Hoyer is slated to visit the Jets, ESPN.com reports.

Per the report, the Jets were interested in adding Hoyer last offseason, but after he signed with the Texans, the team went with Ryan Fitzpatrick instead. With Fitzpatrick and the Jets currently at a contract impasse, the team will revisit its interest in Hoyer, but we expect that luring back Fitzpatrick remains the team's preferred outcome.

Rodgers relayed Monday that he has no restrictions after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery earlier in the offseason, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "I'm feeling really good right now," Rodgers added.

Mere cleanups, such as the one performed on his knee, generally don't have a long-lasting impact, and Rodgers' recovery appears to be no different. Monday marked the first day of the Packers' offseason program, which head coach Mike McCarthy noted in February would include Rodgers. Because the preceding came to fruition and Rodgers is feeling no ill effects from the procedure, he can now look forward to rebuilding his rapport with Jordy Nelson (knee), who was also able to participate Monday.

Keenum signed his first-round tender with the Rams on Monday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Keenum's deal will equate to about $3.6 million for this season, but with the Rams potentially drafting a quarterback with the No. 1 overall pick, it's unclear if Keenum's future remains in Los Angeles. With Nick Foles also on the Rams' roster after signing a two-year, $24.5 million deal last offseason, Keenum is a far more affordable trade option for potential suitors, though Los Angeles would probably rather get rid of Foles. Either way, it wouldn't surprise if one of the team's veteran signal-callers is dealt prior to training camp.

With the Texans having signed quarterback Brock Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million contract earlier this offseason, it's no surprise that Hoyer is moving on. He'll now look to catch on elsewhere, though it remains to be seen if Hoyer's next team signs him as clear backup, or presents him with an opportunity to compete for a starting job.

Dalton has returned to working with no restrictions with his throwing thumb.

Per the report, Dalton -- is "back to zipping the ball," which puts him on track to be ready for a full workload once the Bengals' off-season workouts commence. Renner has signed with the Chargers.

Renner gives the Chargers some added QB depth, though at this stage he's not a lock to make the team's final roster, with Philip Rivers, Kellen Clemens and Brad Sorensen also in the mix at the position.
