  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans' Brian Hoyer: Still in concussion protocol

Though Hoyer's symptoms are said to be improving, he remains in the NFL's concussion protocol as of Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Hoyer's Week 11 status thus remains cloudy at this stage of the week, with backup T.J. Yates thus making preparations to start Sunday's contest against the Jets in the event that Hoyer -- who is viewed by coach Bill O'Brien as day-to-day -- is not cleared in advance of the contest.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Eagles' Sam Bradford: Not cleared to practice yet

With Bradford -- who is also dealing with left shoulder injury -- still in the NFL's concussion protocol as of Wednesday, the QB is unable to practice, though he is taking part in meetings.

Per the report, at this stage, Bradford has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bucs, but csnphilly.com suggests that it "continues to look like" Mark Sanchez will draw the starting assignment at QB for the Eagles this weekend.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

    Texans' Brian Hoyer: Considered day-to-day

Hoyer (concussion) is considered day-to-day, with head coach Bill O'Brien hoping to have his starting quarterback available for Sunday's game against the Jets, Deepi Sidhu of the Texans' official website reports.

According to Sidhu, the Texans realized Hoyer was concussed when he started having trouble remembering plays during the third quarter of Monday's eventual win over the Bengals. Although the struggles with memory are concerning, the Texans remain optimistic that Hoyer won't miss any games. T.J. Yates would be next in line to start.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Eagles' Sam Bradford: At practice, but does not participate

Bradford (shoulder/concussion) was present at Tuesday's practice but did not participate, Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Bradford did not have his helmet, but he was not spotted wearing a brace or sling on his arm, and his presence alone indicates he has passed the first stage of the concussion protocol. It was announced Monday that Bradford is expected to sit out the Eagles' Week 11 matchup with the Buccaneers, but is status will not officially be determined until later this week, and he seems to be progressing in the right direction.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Struggles in loss

Dalton completed 22-of-38 passes for 197 yards and one interception in Monday night's loss to the Texans.

Dalton easily had his worst performance of an otherwise impressive season so far Monday night, as he posted low-marks in passing yards, completion percentage and yards per attempt. Additionally, Monday was Dalton's first game without a touchdown pass this season, and he threw an interception. After failing to score a touchdown at home against the Texans, Dalton will now lead the Bengals' offense into Arizona for a difficult Week 11 matchup versus the Cardinals on Sunday night.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans' Brian Hoyer: Will not return Monday due to a Concussion

Hoyer will not return to Monday's game against the Bengals due to a concussion, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Hoyer had completed 12 of 22 passes for 123 yards and an interception before getting knocked out of the game in the third quarter with a head injury. He has since been diagnosed with a concussion. His status for Sunday's tilt versus the Jets is up in the air, as he will need to pass the team's concussion protocol. T.J. Yates replaced Hoyer under center.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Texans' Brian Hoyer: Being evaluated for concussion

Hoyer suffered a head injury in the third quarter of Monday's game against the Bengals and is being evaluated for a concussion. T.J. Yates replaced him in the game.

Hoyer completed 12 of 22 passes for 123 yards and an interception before leaving the game for the evaluation.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Rams' Case Keenum: Named Rams starting QB

Keenum was named the Rams' starting quarterback Monday over Nick Foles.

In a passing league, Foles' performance has been dismal in his first campaign with the Rams. He's only reached 200 yards through the air twice in nine games, while completing 56.6 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns versus six interceptions. Meanwhile, Keenum has a 2-8 record as a starter, but head coach Jeff Fisher will hope that the change will light a spark under a dismal offense outside of Todd Gurley.

  • Trevor Siemian QB | ATL

Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Will be Week 11 backup

Siemian will be the backup quarterback in Week 11 against the Bears, head coach Gary Kubiak announced Monday.

Siemian will be in uniform Sunday as Brock Osweiler gets his first start of the season in place of Peyton Manning, who will not play because of a torn plantar fascia in his right foot. Osweiler has long been considered the quarterback of the future in Denver, so while Siemian is one step closer to playing he has no chance of competing for the starting job if Osweiler avoids injury.

  • Sam Bradford QB | MIN

Eagles' Sam Bradford: Expected to miss Week 11

Bradford (shoulder) is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

Bradford was battered during Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, suffering both a concussion and a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder. Given the extent of those injuries, Sunday's upcoming game against the Buccaneers is thought to come too soon for Bradford to be healthy enough to play. While confirmation of Bradford's expected absence will still be needed, Mark Sanchez seems likely to lead Philadelphia's offense in Week 11.
