Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was dialed in on Sunday, showing some fourth-quarter heroics in a come-from-behind victory over the Dolphins in Week 6.

Rodgers went 5-for-5 passing and hooked up with Jordy Nelson for a 9-yard touchdown strike in the opening drive of the game. In the third quarter, he found Randall Cobb for a 5-yard score. Down four points, Rodgers led his team to an 11-play, 60-yard drive which resulted in a 4-yard touchdown to Andrew Quarless with three seconds remaining in the game to give Green Bay the victory.

Rodgers compiled 264 yards through the air while completing 24 of 42 passes. He added three touchdowns and no interceptions, registering a 99.7 passer rating. He was sacked three times and rushed for 34 yards on seven attempts in a 27-24 victory. He has 1,419 passing yards to go along with 15 touchdowns and one interception on the year.

The Packers will host the Panthers in Week 7.

Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer certainly made the most of his eight completions in a rare and lopsided win over archrival Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Hoyer threw for 217 yards for an average of 27.1 yards per completed pass. One of them was a perfect loft over the middle to tight end Jordan Cameron that resulted in a 51-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Now 6-2 in eight starts with Cleveland, Hoyer was blanked on two attempts in the first quarter before finding his rhythm. He hit on 5 of 9 for 146 yards in the second and added 73 yards passing in the third before spending the fourth only handing off.

Hoyer and the Browns will try to take their momentum and run with it next Sunday in Jacksonville.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford managed to toss one touchdown Week 6 against the Vikings.

Stafford finished 19 of 33, for 185 yards and a score. Stafford did not turn the ball over during the contest. Without Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush, Stafford was limited to dump-offs. He averaged just 5.6 yards per completion. Theo Riddick seemed to be Stafford's favorite target early. Riddick had a 41 yard reception on the team's first drive, and capped it off with a 9 yard receiving score from Stafford. He was constantly under pressure during the start, and was sacked four times. Stafford also picked up 1 rushing yard on one attempt.

Stafford will take on the Saints Week 7.

Titans quarterback Charlie Whitehurst completed 17 of his 28 pass attempts for 233 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions in his team's 16-14 win over the Jaguars in Week 6.

Whitehurst didn't put together an impressive state line, but he was able to lead the team on four scoring drives to build up a 16-7 lead before the Jaguars attempted a comeback with a late touchdown and long missed field goal. He also added one rushing yard on two carries while picking up his first win of the season. The Titans will hit the road to face the Redskins in Week 7, but it's anyone's guess who will be under center for that game.

The Cowboys declared linebacker Bruce Carter (thigh), defensive end Jack Crawford, defensive tackles Davon Coleman and Ken Bishop, safety Jakar Hamilton, quarterback Dustin Vaughan and offensive tackle Donald Hawkins inactive for the game at Seattle.

As expected, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr was ruled active for Week 6 at home against the Chargers. Carr suffered an MCL sprain and high ankle sprain Week 4 against the Dolphins, but a bye week gave him enough time to recover for Sunday's divisional game. It will be his first game under interim head coach Tony Sparano.

The following players have been ruled inactive for the Raiders Week 6 at home against the Chargers: Matt McGloin, Vincent Brown, Keith McGill, Jonathan Dowling, Ray-Ray Armstrong, Khalif Barnes and Tony Bergstrom.

As expected, Titans quarterback Jake Locker was ruled inactive for Week 6 against Jacksonville because of a right thumb injury he sustained in Week 5. Backup Charlie Whitehurst will get the starting nod for the third time this season.

Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will get the start Week 6 against the Lions.

Bridgewater is dealing with an ankle injury, but was listed as probable heading into the matchup. Bridgewater missed Week 5 due to the issue, but improved enough over to return Sunday.

Contract negotiations between the Browns and surprising quarterback Brian Hoyer have been idle since early summer, but they could be renewed if he continues to perform well through October, a source has told ESPN.

Hoyer boasts a 97.6 passer rating, which ranks ninth among NFL quarterbacks with more than two starts. The Browns are averaging 25.7 points a game - not bad considering featured back Ben Tate lost two games to injury, premier wideout Josh Gordon is suspended and Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron has been unproductuve while nursing a shoulder ailment.

The source told ESPN that talks in June did not get "past first base" after agent Joe Linta countered an initial offer with one significantly higher. The Browns drafted highly touted Johnny Manziel with their second first-round pick. Hoyer can become a free agent after this season, but the Browns would likely step up their efforts to sign the hometown product if he continued to shine. He is 82 for 132 for 1,007 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in four games.

"I think it's a mystery to everybody because he hasn't played a lot of games," said offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan in regard to Hoyer's potential. "He's played four this year, and I think he's gotten better in each game."
