Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Vikings' Sam Darnold: Logs full practice Thursday
Darnold (foot) was a full practice participant Thursday.
After beginning Week 12 prep as limited due to a foot injury Wednesday, Darnold was able to handle all on-field work one day later, setting him up to continue leading the Vikings offense Sunday in Chicago. Since Minnesota's Week 6 bye, he's completed 112 of 156 passes (71.8 percent) for 1,276 yards, eight touchdowns and six interceptions, rushed 26 times for 105 yards and another TD and fumbled twice (both lost).

Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Tending to ankle issue
Hurts was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury.
Hurts told Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer on Wednesday that the Eagles have had him on a "mini-program" due to a lower-body issue he's been dealing with since last Thursday's win against the Commanders. There's an expectation that Hurts will follow up Wednesday's capped session with full participation Thursday and Friday, according to Tim McManus of ESPN.com. The aforementioned regimen thus will allow Hurts to continue to lead Philadelphia's offense Sunday against the Rams.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Vikings' Sam Darnold: Dealing with foot issue
Darnold was a limited participant in practice Wednesday due to a foot injury.
Darnold kicked off last week as a limited participant due to a right hand injury but followed up with a full session one day later, allowing him to suit up this past Sunday at Tennessee. He's tending to a new health concern this week, though, meaning his status will be watched as the weekend approaches to see if he's in any danger of being sidelined Sunday in Chicago.

Alex McGough QB | GB
Alex McGough: Headed to Green Bay
The Packers signed McGough to the practice squad Wednesday, Zach Kruse of USA Today reports.
McGough spent the entire 2023 regular season on the Packers' practice squad. He suffered multiple lower body injuries during the offseason, and after reverting to Green Bay's injured reserve in July, the two sides were able to reach an injury settlement that allowed McGough to explore his options once healthy. The 2018 seventh-round pick worked out with the Giants on Tuesday, but the former college quarterback will return to the Packers and continue to develop his skills as a wide receiver.

Brock Purdy QB | SF
49ers' Brock Purdy: Will be limited Wednesday
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Purdy (shoulder) will be a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Shanahan revealed Monday that Purdy emerged from the 49ers' Week 11 loss to the Seahawks with soreness in his right shoulder and was considered day-to-day. On Wednesday, Shanahan told David Lombardi of SFStandard.com that he isn't too concerned about the quarterback's availability for Sunday's game at Green Bay. Ultimately, Purdy's activity level in practices Thursday and Friday may determine whether or not he heads into the weekend with an injury designation.

John Rhys Plumlee WR | PIT
John Rhys Plumlee: Joins Seahawks' practice squad
The Seahawks signed Plumlee to their practice squad Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Before joining the Seahawks' practice squad Monday, Plumlee spent the majority of his 2024 campaign with the Jaguars' practice squad before being cut Nov. 12. The undrafted rookie from UCF threw for 5,838 yards, 34 touchdowns and 19 interceptions across his final two collegiate seasons.

Jameis Winston QB | NYG
Browns' Jameis Winston: Could be affected by weather Thursday
Winston's pass attempts could be scaled back in Thursday's game against the Steelers with high winds and rain and/or snow in the forecast for Cleveland, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.
Winston attempted at least 41 passes in his first three starts since taking over for the injured Deshaun Watson (Achilles), with Winston dropping back on more than two-thirds of Cleveland's offensive plays. Thanks to the heavy volume, Winston accrued 395 passing yards and two touchdowns in this past Sunday's 35-14 loss to the Saints, but the unfavorable weather forecast for the Week 12 game could prompt the Browns to lean more heavily on their Nick Chubb-led ground attack.

Cooper Rush QB | BAL
Cowboys' Cooper Rush: Remains starter
Head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed that Rush will remain the Cowboys' starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Rush will make his third consecutive start in Week 12, even though the Cowboys have been outscored 68-16 in losses to the Eagles and Texans over the past two games. With Dallas trailing by at least two scores for much of Monday's game against Houston, Rush dropped back 60 times on the night, taking five sacks while completing 32 of 55 pass attempts for a touchdown and a career-high 354 yards. Though Rush's 6.4 yards per attempt were a stark improvement from his 2.0 average against the Eagles, he still threw a costly first-quarter interception in Houston territory and also fumbled twice, one of which was returned for a Texans TD. Rush may be on a shorter leash in Week 12, with McCarthy acknowledging that he'll also have a package of plays available for backup quarterback Trey Lance, who offers more of a threat as a runner.

Tim Boyle QB | TEN
Tim Boyle: Signs with G-Men
The Giants signed Boyle to their practice squad Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
It appears the Giants are doing everything they can to avoid playing Daniel Jones again this season, even in an emergency, Stapleton believes. Since announcing Jones' benching on Monday, the Giants have said Tommy DeVito will be the starter the remainder of the season, with Boyle signed to the practice squad. Drew Lock is expected to serve as DeVito's backup, and Jones will likely be inactive on game days. Jones has essentially become the team's QB4.

Cooper Rush QB | BAL
Cowboys' Cooper Rush: Throws for 354 yards in loss
Rush completed 32 of 55 pass attempts for 354 yards, one touchdown and one interception while taking two carries for as many yards in Monday's 34-10 loss to the Texans.
Rush wound up piling up enough numbers to serve as a formidable bye week replacement off waivers, despite the one-sided nature of Monday's primetime matchup. The veteran backup did throw an interception while seeing multiple balls bounce off of Houston defenders' hands, which could have derailed his night from a fantasy standpoint. Rush's two fumbles were secured by either himself or a teammate, resulting in a shaky but passable showing. Assuming Dallas keeps Rush under center for Sunday's tilt against Washington, he should check in at the bottom-third of fantasy QB rankings for Week 12.
