Drake Maye QB | NE
Patriots' Drake Maye: Knee issue downplayed
Offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt downplayed Maye's (knee) presence on the the Patriots' Week 7 injury report, noting Thursday that he's "not concerned," adding that the rookie QB "looked good" to him Wednesday, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site and Mike Reiss of ESPN.com report.
Maye was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's injury report, and unless the QB's participation level decreases Thursday or Friday, he should approach Sunday's game against the Jaguars without an injury designation. Added context on that front is slated to arrive once the Patriots' second injury report of the week is posted Thursday.

Skylar Thompson QB | BAL
Dolphins' Skylar Thompson: Practicing in full coming off bye
Thompson (ribs) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Thompson looks back to full health after a ribs injury kept him inactive for Miami's last two contests, putting him in position to work as the top backup to Tyler Huntley during Sunday's road matchup against the Colts. Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) remains on IR and won't be eligible to practice prior to Oct. 23, and Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel has already indicated that Huntley will likely keep a grip on the starting gig until Miami's franchise quarterback returns.

Derek Carr QB | NO
Saints' Derek Carr: Doubtful for Thursday
Carr (oblique) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Broncos, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Carr hasn't been able to practice since he suffered a left oblique strain during a Week 5 loss at Kansas City, but the Saints left the door ajar, however slightly, for him to return to action Thursday. While Carr is most likely to end up inactive for the second game in a row, his status won't be officially confirmed until about 90 minutes before an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. If Carr misses a second consecutive contest, rookie fifth-round pick Spencer Rattler will get another start under center for New Orleans.

Will Levis QB | TEN
Titans' Will Levis: Limited participant in practice
Levis (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Levis played in Sunday's 20-17 loss to Indianapolis but is still managing the injury to his throwing shoulder that he suffered before a Week 5 bye. He'll likely be ready to play this Sunday at Buffalo.
-
Anthony Richardson QB | IND
Colts' Anthony Richardson: Full practice participant
Richardson (oblique) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
Head coach Shane Steichen said Monday that he expected Richardson to return from a two-game absence to start this Sunday against the Dolphins. A full practice to begin Week 7 prep confirms the plan is on track, although Richardson was also a full participant last Thursday and didn't end up playing in Sunday's eventual 20-17 win over the Titans. In light of how things played out last week, fantasy managers will want to see confirmation from Steichen before Sunday that Richardson is in fact starting against the Dolphins.

Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Steelers' Russell Wilson: Takes first-team reps
Wilson took the first-team reps at Wednesday's practice, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Mike Tomlin said Tuesday that Wilson was under consideration for the Week 7 start, but the Steelers head coach either hasn't decided yet or doesn't want to announce it, as he told Pryor on Wednesday that any decisions that he's made will stay in-house. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported Tuesday that Wilson is "in line to make his season debut Sunday night against the Jets," even though Justin Fields has gone 4-2 as the starter while accounting for 11 total touchdowns (six passing, five rushing).
-
Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT
Jets' Aaron Rodgers: Not participating in walk-through
Rodgers (ankle) isn't slated to participate in Wednesday's walk-through practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
That said, interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich noted that Rodgers is on track to play Sunday against the Steelers, with the quarterback thus likely to practice fully by the end of the week. Meanwhile, star wideout Davante Adams (hamstring) -- whom the Jets obtained in a trade with the Raiders on Tuesday -- is slated to be listed as a full participant in Wednesday's walk-through and is expected to play this weekend. Rodgers suffered a left low-ankle sprain in the third quarter of the Jets' Week 5 loss to the Vikings in London, but he proceeded to take every snap on offense in Monday's loss to the Bills while completing 23 of 35 pass attempts for 294 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
-
Anthony Richardson QB | IND
Colts' Anthony Richardson: On track for full practice
Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that Richardson (oblique) is in line to practice fully Wednesday, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.
Assuming Richardson does indeed log a full session Wednesday, he'll be one step closer to returning to action Sunday against the Dolphins. Steichen said Monday that he anticipates that Richardson -- who has missed the Colts' past two games -- will return to the starting role this weekend. In Richardson's absence, veteran signal-caller Joe Flacco helmed the offense, leading the Colts to a narrow loss to the Jaguars and a win over the Titans.
-
Derek Carr QB | NO
Saints' Derek Carr: Not at practice Tuesday
Carr (oblique) wasn't on the field for Tuesday's practice, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Carr's continued absence from practice comes as little surprise while he tends to a left oblique strain, an injury he suffered in the Saints' Week 5 loss to Kansas City. While Carr remains likely to avoid a stint on injured reserve, he's still expected to miss multiple games due to the injury, and he won't be helped by the Saints' quick turnaround before a Thursday night matchup with Denver. Expect the Saints to officially rule Carr out for Week 7 following the release of Wednesday's injury report, with rookie Spencer Rattler likely on track to make a second consecutive start.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Steelers' Justin Fields: Might lose starting gig
Fields could move into a backup role for Sunday's game against the Jets with Russell Wilson set to receive first-team reps in practice Wednesday through Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Just minutes after Pelissero published his report, head coach Mike Tomlin met with the media for his weekly press conference and said that Wilson was merely "in consideration" for the Week 7 start, per Dale Lolley of the Steelers' official site. Tomlin added that both quarterbacks will get reps in practice this week before a decision is made on a starter, and he even floated the possibility of both Wilson and Fields seeing snaps against the Jets, according to Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com. If Pelissero's reporting is correct, fantasy managers who had been relying on Fields should prepare to use another option in Week 7. Wilson was named the starter coming out of the preseason, but after he aggravated a calf injury in practice, Fields stepped into the top job and led Pittsburgh to a 4-2 record while completing 66.3 percent of his passes for 6.9 yards per attempt and a 5:1 TD:INT, to go with 231 yards and five scores on the ground. Now that Wilson has returned to full health, however, he appears likely to reclaim the starting role. Given how well Fields performed over the first six games, Wilson would likely need a strong showing against the Jets on Sunday to ensure he sticks atop the depth chart.
