  • Ben DiNucci QB | DEN

Broncos' Ben DiNucci: Inactive Saturday night

Dinucci (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's game against Detroit.

Dinucci was elevated to the active roster from the practice squad earlier Saturday, but he won't suit up for the contest against the Lions. The 27-year-old hasn't played in an NFL game since 2020 with Dallas.

  • Davis Mills QB | HOU

Texans' Davis Mills: Bypassed for starting nod

Mills is slated to remain the Texans' No. 2 quarterback Sunday against the Titans while Case Keenum draws the start in place of C.J. Stroud (concussion), who has been ruled out for the Week 15 contest, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

Stroud wasn't able to practice in any fashion this week and has yet to clear the five-step protocol after sustaining the concussion in the Texans' 30-6 loss to the Jets last Sunday. Though Mills has served as the top backup to Stroud all season and completed one of five pass attempts for four yards in relief of the rookie signal-caller late in last week's loss, the Texans had him and the 35-year-old Keenum split reps in practice throughout Week 15 prep. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Keenum received the majority of the first-team reps, and he apparently acquitted himself well enough in those practices to get the starting nod over Mills, despite having been inactive as an emergency No. 3 quarterback for each of Houston's first 13 games of the season. Depending on how Keenum performs Week 15, he could end up sticking ahead of Mills as the No. 2 option moving forward once Stroud clears the protocol.

  • Nick Mullens QB | JAC

Vikings' Nick Mullens: Costly turnovers in spot start

Mullens completed 26 of 33 pass attempts for 303 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the 27-24 overtime loss to the Bengals on Saturday.

Mullens generally did a good job of moving the ball and made some gutsy throws, but his gunslinger mentality can be a liability at other times given his lack of throwing velocity. The Vikings ended up losing in overtime, and Mullens' two interceptions were part of how that happened. Mullens was a turnover-prone player even in his Southern Mississippi days, so it will probably always be part of his game. With that said, Mullens could have a favorable matchup against Detroit in Week 16 if he remains Minnesota's starter.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Texans' Case Keenum: Week 15 start awaits

Keenum is in line to start Sunday's game against the Titans with C.J. Stroud (concussion) ruled out for the contest, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

The Texans initially listed Stroud as doubtful for the Week 15 contest following the release of Friday's injury report, but the quarterback was subsequently downgraded to out Saturday after he was unable to clear the five-step concussion protocol. Stroud won't accompany the team to Tennessee and will continue his recovery in Houston while Keenum -- who was inactive for Houston's first 13 games -- picks up his first NFL start since 2021, when he was a member of the Browns. After serving as Stroud's top backup all season and coming on in relief of Stroud in last week's 30-6 loss to the Jets, Davis Mills proceeded to split first-team reps in practice with Keenum throughout the week, but Mills will ultimately remain in the No. 2 role while Keenum draws the starting nod.

  • Bengals' Jake Browning: Big second half in 324-yard effort

Browning completed 29 of 42 pass attempts for 324 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the 27-24 overtime win against the Vikings on Saturday.

Browning mostly struggled in the first half, though he narrowly missed two big throws -- one to Charlie Jones and one to Tee Higgins -- and he would have had a much bigger game if either of those targets had landed. Browning would go on to hit Higgins for two touchdown strikes in the second half, which is an encouraging sign given that Browning had otherwise shown hints of growing dependent on YAC yardage from his running backs and tight ends. The problem is that Ja'Marr Chase left the game with a shoulder injury, and it's not clear if he'll be available as Browning and the Bengals head to Pittsburgh in Week 16.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Questionable for Monday

Smith (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Eagles, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.

Smith might truly be a game-time decision Monday despite practicing in limited fashion Thursday through Saturday. The veteran quarterback sat out last week's loss to the 49ers due to the groin injury, paving the way for Drew Lock to make his first start as a member of the Seahawks. Lock would be in line for another start Monday if Smith can't play, but fantasy managers will need to stay attuned to any additional updates on the Seahawks' quarterback situation leading up to Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Clear for Week 15 action

Hurts, who didn't practice Saturday due to an illness, doesn't have a designation for Monday's game at Seattle.

Hurts didn't show up on the Eagles' Week 15 injury report until Saturday, but the ailment that kept him off the practice field won't impact his availability. He'll thus be free to take on the Seahawks' 25th-ranked pass defense (243.6 yards per game) Monday.

  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Ruled out for Sunday

Stroud (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans.

With Stroud not traveling to Tennessee for the contest, he'll target a potential return to action Dec. 24 against the Browns. In his absence Sunday, either Case Keenum or Davis Mills will draw the start, with Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston indicating that Keenum is expected to get the assignment over Mills. Look for added context on that front to arrive closer to Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.

  • Kenny Pickett QB | CAR

Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Hopes to play as soon as Week 16

Pickett (ankle), who won't play Saturday against the Colts, is reportedly pushing to play in Week 16, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Brooke Pryor of ESPN previously reported that Pickett underwent a procedure to "accelerate the healing process" on a high right ankle sprain. Though the QB will miss his second straight game Saturday, Rapoport indicates that Pickett is targeting a potential return as soon as Dec. 23 against the Bengals. That said, Rapoport suggests that a return to action in Week 17 versus the Seahawks is probably a more realistic outcome for the Steelers' signal-caller.

  • Nathan Rourke QB | ATL

    Nathan Rourke: Waived Saturday

Rourke was waived by the Jaguars on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Rourke signed with Jacksonville's active roster prior to the Week 14 matchup with the Browns in order to serve as an emergency option under center behind Trevor Lawrence (ankle) and C.J. Beathard. Assuming he clears waivers, the signal caller will presumably land back with the team's practice squad.
