Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Eagles' Gardner Minshew: Gets first-team reps
Minshew is taking first-team reps at practice Wednesday, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.
Minshew missed Tuesday's practice for personal reasons, while Jalen Hurts was sidelined by a shoulder sprain that has his availability for Saturday's game against the Cowboys in serious doubt. With Hurts absent again Wednesday, Minshew appears increasingly likely to make his first start of the season this weekend, though nothing has been confirmed yet.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Listed as questionable for Week 16
Lawrence (toe) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Jets.
Lawrence continues to manage a toe injury that he suffered Week 13 in Detroit, but at this stage, the Jaguars haven't suggested that the quarterback won't play Thursday. That said, given Lawrence's official designation, fantasy managers will want to confirm that he's good to go once Jacksonville releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the game's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. Even if he's been less than 100 percent for the past two weeks, Lawrence certainly hasn't been hampered by the toe issue, as he's completed 67.9 percent of his throws for 8.2 yards per attempt and a 7:1 TD:INT to go with 28 yards and a touchdown on the ground in consecutive wins over the Titans and Cowboys.

Joshua Dobbs QB | NE
Titans' Joshua Dobbs: Signed to Titans' active roster
Dobbs was signed by the Titans off of the Lions' practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Dobbs was reverted to the Lions' practice unit after being active for the team's Week 15 win over the Jets, but he will now head to Tennessee. The quarterback could serve as the backup option behind Malik Willis in Week 16 if Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is unable to go versus Houston. Dobbs last attempted a regular season pass in 2020, spending most of his time on practice squads the last few years.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Titans' Ryan Tannehill: Listed as DNP on estimate
Tannehill (ankle) was listed as a non-participant at Tuesday's walkthrough, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Tannehill picked up yet another ankle issue this past Sunday at the Chargers, but he was able to return, finishing with 165 yards, no touchdowns and one interception on 68 percent passing and three carries for one yard and a score during a 17-14 loss. On Monday, coach Mike Vrabel indicated Tannehill will remain the Titans' starting signal-caller Saturday against the Texans if his health allows him to, per Wyatt. Kicking off the week with a DNP isn't exactly a great sign that Tannehill is in line to do so, but he at least has a pair of sessions remaining to put himself back on a path to active status. If Tannehill ends up sidelined this weekend, though, rookie Malik Willis again would step in for the veteran quarterback.

Carson Strong QB | ARI
Carson Strong: Done in the desert
The Cardinals cut Strong from their practice squad Tuesday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Stong was brought in by Arizona following the season-ending torn ACL that Kyler Murray suffered Dec. 12 versus New England, but he's since been relieved of his duties following Tuesday's transaction and addition of quarterback James Morgan to the team's practice squad. Strong will now wait for further opportunities to make his NFL debut.

Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Eagles' Gardner Minshew: Out Tuesday, but poised for start
Minshew didn't participate in Tuesday's walk-through practice due to a personal matter, but at this stage of the week, he appears to be trending toward starting Saturday's game at Dallas while top quarterback Jalen Hurts tends to a sprained throwing shoulder, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Hurts was also listed as a non-participant on Philadelphia's first Week 16 practice report, and while both he and head coach Nick Sirianni aren't dismissing the possibility of the signal-caller playing through his injury Saturday, the Eagles' two-game edge over the Vikings for the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs could be enough for the team to err on the side of caution and hold him out this weekend. According to Tim McManus of ESPN.com, Minshew was excused from Tuesday's practice while he attended funeral services for his college head coach, Mike Leach, but Minshew is expected back in the Philadelphia area later Tuesday and should have plenty of time to get prepared for the possible Week 16 starting assignment. All 24 of Minshew's snaps thus far in 2022 have largely come in garbage-time scenarios, but he shined in two starts for Philadelphia last season, completing 67.2 percent of his throws for 7.4 yards per attempt and a 4:1 TD:INT in games against the Jets and Cowboys.

Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Hurts: DNP on practice estimate
Hurts (shoulder) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated injury report.
The Eagles held a walkthrough to begin Week 16 prep, but Hurts wouldn't have practiced Tuesday if the team had held any sort of session as he tends to a sprained right shoulder that he sustained Sunday at Chicago. While playing through through the pain in the second half of the 25-20 win, he racked up 315 passing yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions while running 17 times for 61 yards and three scores. Coach Nick Sirianni told Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports on Tuesday, "There's a chance he could play this week. ... I will not rule him out. I will not put a timetable on him. We'll see what happens." Hurts has two more opportunities Wednesday and Thursday to join his teammates for on-field work, but if he's unable to suit up Saturday in Dallas, Philadelphia will turn to Gardner Minshew at quarterback.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Not ready for practice
Jackson (knee) didn't practice Tuesday.
Jackson is recovering from a PCL sprain and in danger of missing a third straight game when the Ravens host the Falcons on Saturday. There might be a bit more urgency after Tyler Huntley's brutal performance in Cleveland this past Saturday, but it seems Jackson isn't even at the point to force tough decisions -- at least not early in the week. A return to practice Wednesday or Thursday could make things interesting, at least.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Upgrades to limited participation
Lawrence (toe) was a limited practice participant Tuesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
The Jaguars listed him as a non-participant Monday, though it might not mean much given that they didn't actually practice. Lawrence has played some of his best football while fighting through a toe sprain the past three weeks, but he does face another challenge Thursday night in the form of a stellar Jets defense, four days after throwing for 318 yards and four TDs in a home win over Dallas.

Kenny Pickett QB | CAR
Steelers' Kenny Pickett: Listed as FP on Tuesday
Pickett (concussion) is listed as a full participant on Tuesday's estimated practice report, Dale Lolley of the Steelers' official site reports.
While the Steelers didn't actually practice Tuesday, coach Mike Tomlin said he expects Pickett to return and start Saturday against the Raiders. Of course, the rookie will first need to clear the NFL's concussion protocol -- something that still hadn't happened as of Tuesday morning, per Tomlin.
