De'Von Achane RB | MIA
Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Not expected to face Jets
Achane (knee) isn't expected to play Friday against the Jets, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Achane is officially listed as questionable, but Pelissero indicates that the running back is trending toward missing the Week 12 contest after tweaking his knee in this past Sunday's 20-13 win over the Raiders in his return from a four-game absence. Assuming Achane is officially ruled out when Miami releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to Friday's 3 p.m. ET kickoff, Raheem Mostert would be in line to lead Miami's backfield, with Jeff Wilson and Darrynton Evans also available to mix in.

Zach Charbonnet RB | SEA
Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Inefficient in starting assignment
Charbonnet rushed 14 times for 47 yards and secured all four targets for 11 yards in the Seahawks' 31-13 loss to the 49ers on Thursday.
The rookie back got the starting call as expected with Kenneth Walker (oblique) sidelined and unsurprisingly found efficiency hard to come by against an aggressive 49ers defense. Charbonnet's longest run went for a modest 10 yards, and seven of his 11 receiving yards came on one catch. With Seattle having just a standard seven-day period between games ahead a Week 13 Thursday night road battle versus the Cowboys, there's a possibility Walker still isn't healthy enough to suit up against Dallas.

Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Top performer on Thanksgiving
McCaffrey racked up 114 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 attempts while catching five of six targets for 25 yards in Thursday's 31-13 win over the Seahawks.
McCaffrey displayed no signs of fatigue despite receiving just three days off in between Thursday's two-score showing and a 26-touch performance where he went over 100 combined yards with a touchdown against the Buccaneers last Sunday. The MVP candidate put his signature combination of strength and elusiveness on display when he appeared to be engulfed by multiple Seattle defenders in the backfield before miraculously slipping through for his second touchdown of the evening. The pair of trips to the end zone gives the multifaceted superstar double-digit rushing touchdowns for just the second time in career, with the previous coming back in 2019 when he earned first-team All Pro honors after racking up 15 over 16 games. McCaffrey will finally get an opportunity to rest until the calendar turns for a rematch of last year's NFC Championship Game when the 49ers travel to the Link to take on the Eagles on Dec. 3.

Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Big day in big win
Pollard carried the ball 13 times for 79 yards and a touchdown and caught all six of his targets for 24 yards in Thursday's 45-10 rout of the Commanders.
The running back was fairly quiet through the first half. but Pollard churned out a seven-yard TD run right before halftime and then began to pile up some yardage as the Cowboys put the game away. It's the first time in five games since Dallas' bye that the running back has topped 100 scrimmage yards, while the touchdown was his second in as many games and fourth of the year. Pollard hasn't had the huge breakout projected for him in the wake of Ezekiel Elliott's departure, but he still has time to put together a big finish to 2023, with a Week 13 home tilt against a vulnerable Seahawks run defense next on the schedule.

Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Held in check in Thanksgiving loss
Robinson carried the ball 15 times for 53 yards and caught two of three targets for 11 yards in Thursday's 45-10 loss to the Cowboys.
The Commanders kept things fairly close in the first half and were only down 20-10, allowing them to keep Robinson involved in the offense, but once things got away from them after the break the running game became an afterthought. The second-year RB also briefly left the contest in the second quarter to get checked for a concussion, but he was cleared to return. After two straight games with over 100 scrimmage yards, Robinson returned to the mediocre production level he's been stuck in most of the season, both due to game script and his own lackluster 4.0 yards per carry average. He'll try to get rolling again in Week 13 against the Dolphins, as the Commanders do their best to keep Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill on the sideline.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Officially inactive Thursday
Walker (oblique) is inactive for Thursday's game against the 49ers.
Walker seemed likely to miss at least one contest due to the strained oblique that he suffered this past Sunday versus the Rams after being listed as a DNP on all three of the Seahawks' Week 12 practice reports. However, coach Pete Carroll told Colin Gunther of the team's official site Wednesday that Walker received a doubtful designation "because you never know." It may not mean Walker has a chance to return next Thursday night at Dallas, but his status will continue to be monitored to see how realistic that may be. With Walker sidelined, Zach Charbonnet will pace Seattle's backfield, while DeeJay Dallas and Kenny McIntosh will be the reserve options.

David Montgomery RB | HOU
Lions' David Montgomery: Scores another touchdown
Montgomery rushed 15 times for 71 yards with one touchdown and a two-point conversion during Thursday's 29-22 loss to the Packers.
After Jahmyr Gibbs seemed to eat into Montgomery's between-the-tackles role coming out of Detroit's Week 9 bye, Montgomery has seen four more carries than Gibbs in each of the two games since then. He also got the nod on a number of goal-line rushing attempts after Gibbs handled four of them over the past couple of weeks, and Montgomery took full advantage of the opportunity to remain the only running back outside of Raheem Mostert to average more than one rushing touchdown per game in 2023. However, Montgomery's role in the passing game was again overshadowed by Gibbs, who logged eight targets Thursday, compared to Montgomery's one. While both running backs will prevent the other from handling a workhorse role, all indications suggest that the Lions offense should continue to support two highly-fantasy-relevant running backs heading into a Week 13 matchup with New Orleans.

Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: Totals 73 yards
Gibbs rushed 11 times for 54 yards while securing four of eight targets for 19 yards during Thursday's 29-22 loss to Green Bay.
After seeing two more carries than David Montgomery did in the first game after Detroit's Week 9 bye, Gibbs has trailed his counterpart by four carries in each of the past two weeks. While the Alabama product has still been seeing more touches per game lately thanks to a notable role in the passing game -- and he could have had a more productive day had Jared Goff been more accurate on a couple of Gibbs' looks -- Gibbs' upside is undoubtedly capped by Montgomery, who racked up his ninth touchdown in eight games this season. The Detroit offense will look to keep fostering two productive running backs when the Lions reconvene for a Week 13 road matchup with a Saints defense that has allowed the fourth-fewest receptions to running backs in 2023.
-
AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Solid numbers against Detroit
Dillon carried the ball 14 times for 43 yards and caught all three of his targets for 38 yards in Thursday's 29-22 win over the Lions.
While his 3.1 yards per carry average isn't impressive, Dillon came up with some big plays in key spots, including a 22-yard reception that kicked off a scoring drive early in the second quarter. It's the second time in the last three games Dillon's topped 80 scrimmage yards, but his Thanksgiving performance came with Aaron Jones (knee) inactive and Patrick Taylor being the only other back to get touches, with four. With a few extra days to recuperate, Jones will have a chance to return in Week 13 against Kansas City.

Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Broncos' Samaje Perine: Logs full practice Thursday
Perine (knee) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Perine was limited Wednesday, but his return to all activity a day later sets the stage for the running back to be available for Sunday's game against the Browns. Though Perine has logged just one carry in each of his last three contests, he made his mark Week 11 by catching all seven of his targets for 60 yards in a 21-20 win over the Vikings. Overall, he's averaging 2.9 carries for 11.8 yards and 3.2 catches for 32.6 yards per game through 10 outings, numbers that give Perine modest fantasy utility in PPR formats.
