  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Cleared to play again

Jones (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

The Packers continue to limit Jones' practice reps even after he handled 24 touches and 57 percent snap share in a 20-3 win over the Rams last week. A similar role is possible this Sunday, though perhaps not guaranteed, as AJ Dillon has often taken on more work, with Jones bothered by a hamstring injury since Week 1. The bigger concern for Week 10 might be the Packers listing three of their starting offensive linemen as questionable; the good news for Jones is that all three managed some level of practice participation this week.

  • Browns' Pierre Strong: Questionable for Sunday's contest

Strong (hamstring) will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Strong returned to a limited practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session and thus has a chance to suit up this weekend. That said, with both Jerome Ford and Kareem Hunt also in the team's RB mix, Strong figures to be limited to complementary work if he's available versus Baltimore.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Remains sidelined Friday

Pierce (ankle) wasn't present for Friday's practice, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pierce also missed practice Wednesday and Thursday and thus is trending toward missing Sunday's game against the Bengals. If Pierce is ruled out for the contest, Devin Singletary would once again serve as Houston's lead option out of the backfield in Week 10.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Cardinals' James Conner: Trending toward playing

Coach Jonathan Gannon told reporters Friday morning that Conner (knee) is "trending in the right direction for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

The decision should be apparent by 4 p.m. ET on Saturday, the deadline for players in Sunday games to be activated from injured reserve. The Cardinals designated Conner for an IR return earlier this week and listed him as a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday. Meanwhile, rookie RB Emari Demercado (toe) still hasn't practiced since Week 8 and thus appears in serious danger of missing a second straight game. The decision to waive RB Tony Jones on Thursday is another hint the Cardinals expect Conner to play, as Keaontay Ingram is the only healthy running back on the active roster.

  • Deon Jackson RB | DET

Giants' Deon Jackson: Won't face Dallas

Jackson (concussion) is ruled out for Sunday's road matchup against the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Jackson won't be eligible to retake the field until he's fully cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. The depth running back should have a good chance to return to health in time to suit up on the road versus Washington in Week 11.

  • Bears' Darrynton Evans: Targeted twice in victory

Evans rushed twice for five yards in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday.

After getting 25 combined touches combined Weeks 6 and 7, Evans received three carries and four targets over the past two games. With Khalil Herbert (ankle) appearing set to return to the lineup in Week 11, Evans may not have a spot on the game-day roster going forward.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Targeted often in victory

Johnson rushed five times for 18 yards and caught four passes for 14 yards in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday.

Johnson continues to struggle with his opportunities, as he has gained 43 yards on 13 rushes while also being held to 33 yards on eight receptions over his last three games. The Chicago backfield may become more crowded in Week 11, when the team likely activates Khalil Herbert (ankle) from injured reserve. If Johnson retains his pass-catching role, he could maintain the 1.85 receptions per game he's recorded since Week 2.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Panthers' Miles Sanders: Forgettable night in loss

Sanders rushed twice for minus-5 yards and brought in both targets for 15 yards in the Panthers' 16-13 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.

Sanders once again tracked notably behind backfield mate Chuba Hubbard in workload, logging seven fewer carries. While he enjoyed a modest pass-catching role, it did nothing appreciable for his fantasy output. Sanders opened the season as the clear lead back and logged double-digit carries in three of his first four games, but he's been at seven totes or fewer in the subsequent four contests. While there could well be further transition in the pecking order over the second half of the season, Sanders' fantasy outlook appears dim heading into a Week 11 home matchup against the Cowboys on Nov. 19.

  • Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR

Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Serves as lead back in loss

Hubbard rushed nine times for 23 yards and brought in both targets for 16 yards in the Panthers' 16-13 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.

Hubbard outpaced backfield mate Miles Sanders by seven carries but couldn't do much with his workload against one of the league's top run defenses. The third-year back fell just short of a third straight double-digit carry tally, and he appears to have a grip on the top role in the ground attack for the time being. Hubbard and the rest of the Panthers offense draw an unenviable matchup against an aggressive Cowboys defense in a Week 11 clash on Nov. 19.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Another solid effort Thursday

Foreman rushed 21 times for 80 yards and a touchdown and secured both targets for 12 yards in the Bears' 16-13 win over the Panthers on Thursday night.

Khalil Herbert (ankle) wasn't activated from injured reserve ahead of Thursday's game, affording Foreman at least one more run as the lead back. The bruising veteran took advantage of the opportunity to churn out another workman-like performance, one that featured his third rushing score of the season in the form of a four-yard run just past the halfway point of the third quarter. Foreman has eclipsed 80 rushing yards in three of his last four games, but with 10 days until Chicago's Week 11 divisional road showdown against the Lions, Herbert is likely to return for that contest and put a dent into Foreman's workload to some degree.
