  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Unleashed for 194 total yards

Hall had 22 carries for 177 yards and a touchdown while catching all three of his targets for 17 receiving yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over Denver.

Head coach Robert Saleh stated that Hall would no longer have playing time limitations starting this week, and he stayed true to his word by giving his starting tailback 25 touches Sunday. Hall hadn't topped 13 combined touches in any of the Jets' previous four contests this season following his recovery from a torn ACL last October. Assuming his knee held up fine, the 22-year-old's ROS projections should experience a huge spike now that he is healthy and seeing a starter's workload. Hall will face a stiffer test against the Eagles next Sunday, but the speedy back should have plenty of chances to break off a big play as the Jets lean on the running game sans Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) this season.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Another heavy workload

Kamara rushed 22 times for 80 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-0 win over the Patriots. He added three receptions for 17 yards.

Kamara dominated touches out of the New Orleans backfield, and he now has at least 24 touches in each of his two games this season. Efficiency was a different story, as his longest gain on the ground was 10 yards and that mark rose to 12 yards as a receiver. However, he managed a strong fantasy performance after finding the end zone for the first time this season from two yards away early in the second quarter. While he hasn't shown much explosiveness, Kamara should be featured heavily once again with Jamaal Williams (hamstring) sidelined for at least one more week.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Fifteen touches Sunday

Williams rushed 13 times for 53 yards and caught both of his targets for four yards during Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Eagles.

Williams' rushing line was very similar to his first two games of the season aside from a lack of touchdowns, but his receiving numbers took a substantial hit with the return of Cooper Kupp to the fold. The Rams may have been cautious with their primary running back as he nursed a hip injury through the week, and the Eagles are also more susceptible to the pass than the run, which could help explain the dip in Williams' production. An inviting matchup against a soft Cardinals rush defense in Week 6 offers a prime chance for Williams to bounce back to form.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Limited in return

Taylor (ankle) carried the ball six times for 18 yards in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Titans. He added one reception for 16 yards.

Taylor made his season debut after being activated from the PUP list, though he was eased back in his return. His longest gain on the ground went for only five yards, and his biggest contribution came as a pass catcher. Taylor's workload will undoubtedly tick up in future games, but Zack Moss has performed well as the lead back and could remain a part of the offensive gameplan more than previously expected.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Eclipses 80 total yards in loss

Pierce rushed 20 times for 66 yards and brought in his only target for 16 yards in the Texans' 21-19 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.

Pierce once again toughed his way through an inefficient day, as even the return of two starting offensive linemen from injury for the Texans wasn't enough to open up sufficient running lanes for the second-year back. No running back other than Pierce logged a carry for Houston, the first time that's happened all season. Pierce therefore looks as secure as ever in his role as workhorse back heading into a Week 6 home matchup against the Saints.

  • Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Compiles 78 total yards in win

Mostert rushed 10 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for 13 yards in the Dolphins' 31-16 win over the Giants on Sunday. He also committed a fumble that was recovered by Miami.

Mostert logged one fewer carry than dynamic backfield mate De'Von Achane, but he was efficient and recorded his seventh rushing touchdown of the season on a two-yard run on the final play of the third quarter. Achane's electric play makes it difficult to keep him off the field for extended stretches, but Mostert's own explosiveness and pass-catching ability has helped him remain relevant in Miami's aggressive offense. Mostert next takes aim at a soft Panthers run defense in a Week 6 home matchup.

  • Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Logs 12 touches in loss

Elliott rushed eight times for 21 yards and brought in all four targets for 17 yards in the Patriots' 34-0 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Elliott logged the same amount of carries as Rhamondre Stevenson but enjoyed a much bigger presence in the passing game. Elliott has multiple receptions in three of the first five games of the season, but he's now averaged under 3.0 yards per carry on three occasions in that sample as well. The veteran back should have a chance at more efficient production in a Week 6 road matchup against the Raiders.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Shut down in shutout loss

Stevenson rushed eight times for 24 yards and failed to bring in either of his two targets in the Patriots' 34-0 loss to the Saints on Sunday.

Stevenson drew even with Ezekiel Elliott in carries on the afternoon, but as his line shows, that didn't lead to any meaningful production. Stevenson's outlook for the day was muddled by the increasingly large deficit the Patriots incurred as the afternoon wore on to go with New England's almost complete inability to threaten teams through the air with either Mac Jones or Bailey Zappe. However, Stevenson may have an opportunity to benefit from a more normal game script in a Week 6 road matchup against the Raiders.

  • Lions' Craig Reynolds: Scores in fourth

Reynolds rushed seven times for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-24 win over the Panthers.

Reynolds served as Detroit's backup tailback with rookie first-rounder Jahmyr Gibbs (hamstring) sidelined. Although starter David Montgomery racked up another 125-plus scrimmage yards and a score from his 21 touches, Reynolds took advantage of his opportunities late, scoring from five yards during the fourth quarter. If Gibbs returns for Week 6's matchup versus the Bucs, Reynolds would likely be relegated to No. 3 running back duties, but his cameo Sunday at least proved his capability if needed more.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Cardinals' James Conner: Dealing with knee issue

Conner departed Sunday's game against the Bengals due to a knee injury.

Conner visited the sideline tent early in the second quarter and eventually jogged to the locker room with a team trainer. At the time of his exit, he had turned six carries into 46 yards. Undrafted rookie Emari Demercado likely will be the Cardinals' lead runner with Corey Clement backing him up for as long as Conner is sidelined.
