  • Zach Evans RB | NYJ

Rams' Zach Evans: Stays on sidelines

Evans (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Colts, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Evans has yet to suit up this season, as the team opts to continue to role with the veteran Royce Freeman as its No. 3 running back behind Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers. The rookie running back's next chance to suit up will be in Week 5 against the Eagles.

  • Steelers' Godwin Igwebuike: Sidelined again

Igwebuike (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Texans, Alan Saunders of PittsburghSportsNow.com reports.

Igwebuike joined the Steelers on Sept. 20 after Anthony McFarland (knee) was placed on injured reserve. However, the Northwestern product still has not suited up for the team. Instead, Pittsburgh will continue to lean on Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren as its only two active running backs.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Bears' Travis Homer: Ready to go against Broncos

Homer (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Homer had a questionable tag ahead of Sunday's game but will be active after managing two limited practices to close the week. He's played only two offensive snaps this season, with his role instead coming on special teams.

  • Rashaad Penny RB | CAR

Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Not active Sunday

Penny (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Commanders.

Penny now has been a healthy scratch in two of four games to kick off the campaign, with his four touches to date going for 14 yards from scrimmage. While Penny dons street clothes again, the Eagles will continue to roll with D'Andre Swift as their primary running back, with Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott candidates to get any RB touches that linger.

  • Chase Brown RB | CIN

Bengals' Chase Brown: Suiting up again

Brown is active for the second consecutive game Week 4 against the Titans, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Brown got the chance to make his season debut last week and played a few snaps on special teams, in addition to getting his first career carry. The reason for that was largely assumed to be fellow running back depth option Chris Evans sitting out with a hamstring injury, but Evans is back this week, and Brown remains active. Still, both options will presumably be working behind Joe Mixon and Trayveon Williams. While it represents progress for Brown, the rookie still has several hurdles to climb before obtaining fantasy relevance.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

    Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Remains inactive

Foreman (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Foreman has now been a healthy scratch for three consecutive weeks and remains buried on the Bears' running back depth chart. Travis Homer (ankle) is able to suit up, and he'll remain the third back for Chicago.

  • Cam Akers RB | SEA

Vikings' Cam Akers: Active against Carolina

Akers is active for Sunday's game at Carolina, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

The Vikings acquired Akers before Week 3 and made him a healthy inactive for the loss to the Chargers. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said that he still views Alexander Mattison as the team's lead back, something that's unlikely to change in the immediate future after Mattison rebounded from a rough start to the season with 25 touches for 125 yards this past Sunday. Akers should move to the backup role, but how many snaps or touches he'll get in the offense is uncertain, especially with Ty Chandler also active against the Panthers.

  • Miles Sanders RB | DAL

Panthers' Miles Sanders: Ready to play Sunday

Sanders (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Sanders was a limited participant in the Panthers' first two Week 4 practices before sitting out Friday's session entirely, but despite the step back in terms of activity, he'll be ready to play Sunday. The Panthers are making No. 3 running back Raheem Blackshear one of their six inactive players for the contest, implying that the team doesn't have much concern about Sanders' health. Through his first three games with Carolina, Sanders has carried 41 times for 139 yards and a touchdown while adding 12 receptions for 68 yards on 20 targets.

  • Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI

Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Suits up Sunday

Ahmed (groin) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Ahmed missed the Dolphins' 70-20 win over the Broncos in Week 3, but he'll be back in uniform Sunday. That said, Ahmed figures to work in a complementary role in his return, with Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane - who both racked up big numbers versus Denver - on track to continue to lead the team's backfield in Week 4.

  • Justice Hill RB | BAL

Ravens' Justice Hill: Suits up Sunday

Hill (foot) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Hill, who was inactive in Week 3, was listed as a full participant in Friday's practice, and he'll be back in the Ravens' RB mix Sunday. In his return to action, Hill and Gus Edwards figure to work in a time-share arrangement versus Cleveland, with practice-squad callup Melvin Gordon also on hand to log complementary snaps. In that context, Hill is a lineup option in deeper formats, but as long as he's sharing RB touches, the 2019 fourth-rounder profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option.
