Kareem Hunt RB | KC
Browns' Kareem Hunt: Won't practice Wednesday
Hunt won't practice Wednesday due to rib and groin injuries, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
In his season debut this past Sunday against the Titans, Hunt was on the field for 14 snaps on offense, finishing the day with five carries for 13 yards and two receptions for 22 yards. With an absence at practice on tap Wednesday, Hunt's status in now worth tracking as this weekend's game against the Ravens approaches. If he's able to suit up Sunday, Hunt would be in line to continue to work in a complementary role in Cleveland's backfield behind Jerome Ford.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Set for limited practice Wednesday
Hall (knee) will be a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
The Jets continue to manage Hall's practice reps, but if the last few weeks are any indication, the running should practice fully by Friday before gaining clearance to play against the Chiefs on Sunday. In the Jets' Week 3 loss to the Patriots, Hall logged 31 snaps while rushing 12 times for 18 yards and catching one of his two targets for nine yards. Meanwhile, fellow back Dalvin Cook was on the field for 16 snaps, carrying eight times for 18 yards and catching all three of his targets for 11 yards.

Myles Gaskin RB | SEA
Myles Gaskin: Back with Minnesota's practice unit
The Vikings re-signed Gaskin to their practice squad Wednesday.
Minnesota released Gaskin on Tuesday, but he'll end up sticking around in the organization and will provide the Vikings with added backfield depth behind Alexander Mattison, Cam Akers and Ty Chandler. Gaskin -- who logged two special teams snaps Week 2 but didn't play in the Vikings' other two games -- will probably remain off the fantasy radar unless both Mattison and Akers simultaneously miss time.

D'Ernest Johnson RB | NE
Jaguars' D'Ernest Johnson: Five touches in loss
Johnson rushed three times for six yards while catching both of his targets for six yards in Sunday's 37-17 loss to the Texans.
Johnson's three rushes and two catches were both season-highs through three weeks. Surprisingly, the veteran running back out-snapped top backup Tank Bigsby 12 to nine in the contest. Johnson was unable to produce much with his increased opportunities. Barring an injury to Travis Etienne or Bigbsy, Johnson should remain off the fantasy radar when the Jaguars host the Falcons in Week 4.
-
Damien Harris RB | BUF
Bills' Damien Harris: Minimal involvement in win
Harris rushed five times for 15 yards in Sunday's 37-3 win over the Commanders.
Harris had a quiet day in a blowout victory Sunday; however, his five rushes and 15 yards matched that of fellow running back Latavius Murray. Even so, it was Murray who scored a touchdown and nearly doubled Harris' offensive snap total, handling 17 snaps to Harris' nine. Settling in as the clear No. 3 back, the veteran would need an injury to either James Cook or Murray to become more relevant for fantasy purposes. Harris will be extremely difficult to trust for solid production when the Bills host the Dolphins in Week 4.

Royce Freeman RB | CHI
Royce Freeman: Reverts to Rams' practice squad
Freeman reverted to the Rams' practice squad after Monday's 19-16 loss at Cincinnati.
Just like in Week 2, Freeman played exclusively on special teams in the Rams' defeat Monday. The Rams will be able to elevate him one more time this season before they'd have to sign him to the active roster for him to be eligible to suit up.

Ke'Shawn Vaughn RB | SF
Buccaneers' Ke'Shawn Vaughn: No action despite active status
Vaughn was active but didn't log any snaps from scrimmage or on special teams during the Buccaneers' 25-11 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
Vaughn was essentially a healthy scratch for the third time in as many games to open the season, despite being in uniform for his first 2023 contest. Game script went firmly against the ground attack as the night progressed Monday night, however, with even No. 2 back Sean Tucker garnering just two carries and four snaps. Vaughn should have another opportunity to fill the No. 3 running back role in a Week 4 road matchup against the Saints, considering Chase Edmonds (knee) is on injured reserve for at least three more contests.
-
Sean Tucker RB | TB
Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Minimal action in loss
Tucker rushed twice for one yard and wasn't targeted in the passing game during the Buccaneers' 25-11 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.
Tucker saw only four snaps in a game where the script progressively turned away from the ground attack. The rookie running back is likely to continue in a minor role during any game where Rachaad White is available and Tampa Bay is trailing in the second half, although Chase Edmonds' (knee) absence for at least three more games could open up more snaps for Tucker in scenarios where the Buccaneers have a lead or are managing a modest deficit.

Keaontay Ingram RB | KC
Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Records 21 total yards Sunday
Ingram turned five carries into 13 yards and gathered in his only target for eight yards during Sunday's 29-16 victory versus the Cowboys.
Ingram earned his highest snap share (15 percent) in a game this season and also had his most-productive performance. Still, 21 yards from scrimmage isn't much to write home about, especially with James Conner dominating the Cardinals backfield through three contests to the tune of 74.3 percent of offensive plays and 58 touches for 292 total yards and two TDs. Ingram likely is locked into his current role without some sort of absence from Conner.

Jeremy McNichols RB | WAS
Jeremy McNichols: Joins 49ers' practice squad
San Francisco signed McNichols to its practice squad Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, tight end Troy Fumagalli was cut from the practice squad. McNichols last saw the field in 2021, and he's not likely to get brought up to the active roster any time soon.
