Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Nursing foot injury
Kamara was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a foot injury.
Kamara initially appeared in danger of missing Wednesday's session entirely, but the running back was apparently able to get some activity in during the portion of the practice that was closed to the media. The Saints are preparing to roll without Drew Brees (chest) for at least the next two games, so Kamara could have the chance to take on more volume as a ballcarrier than normal in the short term, assuming he gains clearance for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Puts in full practice
Elliott (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Prior to the session, Elliott worked out with a trainer before joining his teammates, according to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News. Afterward, he told Gehlken that his hamstring is "a little stiff" and "something that I'm working on every day." Having said that, Elliott handled every practice rep Wednesday, indicating he intends to gut out the issue during this weekend's game in Minnesota.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Seahawks' Travis Homer: Doubtful with trio of injuries
Homer (wrist/knee/thumb) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against the Cardinals, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports.
Homer's long list of injuries will more than likely keep him sidelined Week 11, but the Seahawks should get some reinforcement at running back with Carlos Hyde (hamstring) set to return from a three-game absence. Meanwhile, top back Chris Carson (foot) is listed as questionable after missing the past three contests, with Seattle viewing him as a game-time call for Thursday night. Considering Carson and Hyde have slotted ahead of him on the depth chart all season, Homer will likely have a minimal role whenever he's deemed fit to play again.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Not spotted at practice
Kamara wasn't present at the portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to the media, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The Saints are missing two key players at Wednesday's practice, with both Kamara and Drew Brees (chest) sidelined. Brees is set to miss at least two weeks due to his injuries, but the Saints may not provide an update on Kamara's situation until the team releases its first Week 11 injury report later Wednesday.
-
Anthony McFarland RB | MIA
Steelers' Anthony McFarland: Overcomes illness
McFarland (illness) was a full participant in practice Wednesday.
McFarland came down with a non-COVID-19-related illness prior to last week's win over Cincinnati and ended up sitting out, but he has evidently recovered from the ailment. The rookie will be in the mix for change-of-pace work behind top back James Conner in Sunday's game in Jacksonville.
-
Darrynton Evans RB | BUF
Titans' Darrynton Evans: Practicing Wednesday
Evans (hamstring) is participating in Wednesday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
The Titans designated Evans for return from injured reserve Monday, giving him a 21-day window to be evaluated at practice. He can be officially moved to the active roster at any point in that span. Both Jeremy McNichols and D'Onta Foreman have been solid as depth options behind Derrick Henry in recent weeks, so Evans could face competition for touches once he's back on the field.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Still dealing with tight hamstring
Elliott said his tight hamstring feels better after a bye week, but he acknowledged Wednesday that he's still managing some soreness, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports. "It's a little stiff," Elliott said of the hamstring. "It's something that I'm working on every day."
Elliott was listed as questionable ahead of the Cowboys' Week 9 loss to Pittsburgh, ultimately suiting up and taking 20 touches for 69 yards while playing 65 percent of the offensive snaps. That's obviously a sizable workload, but it was also the first time all season where Elliott played less than three-quarters of the snaps in a game that wasn't a blowout. While he may not be 100 percent healthy, Elliott seemingly expects to play in Sunday's game at Minnesota.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
Jets' La'Mical Perine: Coach promises more touches
Coach Adam Gase said Wednesday he plans to give Perine more touches over the team's final seven games, though Frank Gore will continue to play a prominent role as well, Al Iannazone of Newsday reports.
This isn't the first time Gase has promised a larger role for Perine, though in fairness, the rookie has averaged 10 touches per game in the last four after touching the ball just 17 times over his first four appearances. Still, those hoping for the winless Jets to invest fully in the future shouldn't get their hopes up, as Gase said Gore -- who is averaging 3.6 yards per carry without a touchdown this season -- is "probably playing at one of the higher levels of anybody we have right now."
-
Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Not practicing Wednesday
Mixon (foot) isn't participating in Wednesday's practice, Tyler Dragon of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Prior to the session, coach Zac Taylor labeled Mixon as "day-to-day" and said he'll be monitored in practice throughout week, according to John Fay of The Cincinnati Enquirer. The 24-year-old isn't off to a great start in his effort to return from the lineup Sunday against Washington, as he still has yet to resume practicing in any capacity since suffering the right foot injury Week 6. Unless Mixon able to take a tangible step forward Thursday and/or Friday, Giovani Bernard looks poised for another turn as Cincinnati's lead back.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Dolphins' Matt Breida: Practicing Wednesday
Breida (hamstring) is participating in Wednesday's practice, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.
Breida, who managed to practice in a limited capacity last week, has missed back-to-back games due to his hamstring injury. If he's able to get healthy in time for Sunday's game in Denver, Breida could see his first chance of the season to handle significant work out of the backfield. Myles Gaskin (knee) will need to remain on injured reserve for at least one more week, and the Dolphins recently released a potential challenger for reps in Jordan Howard.
