Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Practicing Thursday
Stevenson (undisclosed) is participating in Thursday's padded practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Stevenson left Tuesday's practice early, but his exit appears to have been precautionary since he's practicing Thursday in the Patriots' first full-pad practice of training camp. He's splitting first-team reps with TreVeyon Henderson on Thursday, and that arrangement is expected to linger throughout the season as long as both running backs are healthy.

Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Leaves practice early
Stevenson (undisclosed) left the field as his teammates prepared for final sprints during Tuesday's practice, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Per Callahan, Stevenson was a full participant right up until the sprints and skipped a scheduled media availability afterward, but it's unclear what led to his early exit. If he's picked up an injury, it would open the door for TreVeyon Henderson to handle all the first-team reps in the backfield.

Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Continues to work with Henderson
Ahead of training camp, Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson remain atop the Patriots' RB depth chart, as they did last season, Avery Hill of the Boston Globe reports.
Stevenson and Henderson are thus on track to continue to share the bulk of New England's rushing load in 2026. In 14 regular-season contests in 2025, Stevenson gained 603 yards and seven TDs on 130 carries, while adding 32 catches for 345 yards and a pair of receiving scores. For his part, Henderson recorded 180 carries for 911 yards and nine TDs to go along with 35 catches for 221 yards and another score in 17 games. Though any sort of backfield time-share can complicate things from a fantasy perspective, both backs should still see enough work to generate fantasy utility while working in an offense helmed by rising young QB Drake Maye. That said, one thing that could tilt things Henderson's way is a re-occurrence of the ball-security issues Stevenson endured during the 2024 campaign, when he racked up a total of seven fumbles (three lost).

Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Catches late TD in Super Bowl 60
Stevenson rushed the ball seven times for 23 yards in Sunday's 29-13 loss to the Seahawks in Super Bowl LX. He added five receptions (on five targets) for 40 yards and a touchdown.
Stevenson began the game as a key part of New England's game plan, though the team's inability to maintain drives limited his impact. All seven of his carries came in the first half, and the majority of his production as a pass catcher came with the Patriots down by multiple scores. The highlights of Stevenson's performance were a long reception of 13 yards and a seven-yard touchdown grab just before the two-minute warning. Stevenson fended off TreVeyon Henderson as the lead back in 2025, though Stevenson may lose a bit more of his volume, as the duo projects to split the Patriots backfield again in 2026.
